watch jones become a blur and penetrate the paint, open up space and pass to the outside
there is a reason point guards are 6 footers
it would make more sense for wemby to become the point guard if you dont want to worry about speed

Mfs really act like Sochan cant “learn” how to play PG leading the second unit, if the Spurs are tanking cool. But stop pretending that Sochan starting is a winning move.

The only angry people at point Sochan are the ones stuck in “win now” mode. It’s still a development year where every win is gravy. That or they bet the over for season wins and are incensed at every loss…
Sochan will learn best by playing against other starters. And for the sake of all that is good, just remember that Sochan is less than 1 year older than Wemby

We need more than just player development to turn this group into a championship team. We have all our future picks. We want to draft high, and develop our current players at the same time. Point Sochan helps with both goals.

It’s way too early to say it’s a fail. It’s his first 6 game as starting point guard and while he is making a ton of mistakes, he’s continuing to grind and not bitching about it. One thing holding him back right now is his decision making with the ball. He’s taking to long to make reads, whether its getting buckets or moving the ball to the open man. Guess what, that is developed with time and practice.
Just sit back and enjoy the ride, because it’s about to be a long one for the group of people losing their minds over the first 6 games of the season.
The road to success is not beautiful, but it will be worth it in the end.

It’s not asking to much for your Point Guard to be able to inbound the ball to the right team.
There’s _potential_ sure, but I really think it’s unlikely this experiment results in us not needing to trade for a proper Point Guard down the road. So let’s see if he’s Draymond, not Steve Nash.
