Is it the players' fault that they worked so much to reach superstar status and want the best path to win?
Ironically, a PRIME Ben Simmons is what would really help the team. All world defense, half court playmaker, minimal shot taking, and now that the pace has sped up would only enhance that goal.
We need to play higher level teams to see where we're really weakest. We need someone who can defend well on the perimeter, shoot from deep and distribute at a high level. But anybody who can do all three is likely out of reach, so we have to see what two out of those three do we need most.
OG Anunoby is best fit. OG Anunoby & Gary Trent jr would be perfect addition.
Caruso would be neat. I've been saying a bunch of different teams should have traded for him last year, I hope the Bulls are willing to dump him. The defence and Hustle really brings a lot to a winning team.
I haven't even thought of Caruso coming to Philly, but man I would absolutely love that. He's probably worth a first, but don't know if they'd like to trade for an elite role player over a star player
For a second i was extremely worried about the direction of Philly with the whole Harden thing going on but now thats over i feel like Philly is headed in a good direction
Philadelphia 76ers screwed up their path to success by hiring Morey. All he tried to do from day one was to get Harden. This left Simmons off side. Maxey, Simmons and Embiid core would have made it to an ECF when compared to the Harden version. Some blame goes to the casual fanbase (who were misled) that sealed Morey do the worst move of his career. Some players lacking leadership also helped create hate and internal bad culture. Current state is a result of all of these.
I think any team could use Caruso, so crazy the lakers let him just walk

I don’t want Zach at all. Give me OG and maybe Trent if we can snag him somehow too. We need off-ball players next to Embiid and Maxey. OG provides solid offense at the 3 and can be our Tatum/Brown stopper.
They've got a shooter (Maxey), a star centre (Embiid), 3 & D guys. They need a playmaker like Haliburton, Lamello. Someone who can give them assists and control the game
