All this means is that if our guards hit shots, at even just a 10% increase, we win. I’m disappointed, not because we lost, but because we are so much better than what was displayed here tonight. This is our bottom, let’s rise for the next ones 🦅🔥🔥🔥

  2. Zealousideal-Past851

First off I would like to say 🖕🏽Oklahoma as a team and a state… cawwwwcaawwhhhhhhh 😤

  3. Dkandler

Deandre Hunter haters allowed to come back out?

  4. dangheckinpupperino

It kind of felt like we were the better team

Thunder hit a lot of haymakers at the end of the shot clock tonight, and we missed countless wide open 3s. Offense produced a lot of good looks and we just couldn’t buy a basket.

Thunder are still plenty good and ggs to them but it doesn’t feel like we really got beat. Hunter going 2-13, Johnson 6-16 is not like them on mostly easy looks.

  5. No-Forever-6104

Just not enough from Trae or Hunter today good effort from the team though.

Haven’t seen Trae play that poorly since the Miami playoff series, OKCs blitzing really seemed to mess with his timing. After the last few games I was fully expecting us to turn it on after halftime but it never really happened. Most disappointing moment was before Dort blocked Trae at the end, it was pretty obvious Jalen didn’t have the confidence to take a moderately contested 3 and thus shoved it to Trae with the clock expiring. Really looked like JJ lacked confidence tonight. Kudos to the guys for not giving up but that was an extremely frustrating game to watch.

  7. EuroStepJam

Trae needs to be smarter with these replay requests – it’s one thing to “sell” a foul, but you’re not going to sell a turnover when the video clearly indicates the ball went off your fucking foot

  8. Zealousideal-Past851

    Trae young in post game…

“Well I just think we gotta”….

Nahh Braa YOUUUUU GOTTTAAA… tf 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  9. No-Forever-6104

Trae was terrible today the hometown yips got to him

  10. slowdrem20

Tough game. They played some really good defense on us most of the game and Dre and Trae were off. Lots of TOs from Trae and his shot had more arch on it than usual probably because OKC’s team is massive. We move.

Well I know we hate searching for moral victories but sometimes the shots just aren’t falling your way while your opponent can’t seem to miss. Games like tonight happen in an 82-game season. Wasn’t the first and it won’t be the last.

I’m fully aware that this sounds like cope but our losses so far this year do look better than they did last year. We were getting open looks and (mostly) taking smart shots. They just weren’t falling. Last year, we would plunge into an offensive possession with no rhyme or reason and see what we could make work. It was fine if someone had the hot hand but it was not a formula to consistent wins.

All things considered, the team shows positive signs. Some great resiliency there to close the gap at the end. Trae’s shooting is still bad but I’ve said a thousand times he’s spent the last 5 years being allowed to develop bad habits under bad coaches. It’s gonna take some reps to break them.

    On to the next.

  12. No-Forever-6104

OO with the 14 boards tho I thought he was too small tho 🔥🔥🔥

  13. budizone

Solid effort at the end of the game. Sucks we lost but I can’t be mad. Still waiting on Trae to show up though. The regression is wild to see.

  14. SRSTAdam51

7 Trae turnovers and 27% from the field. Coming into the game he was 34.6% from the field on the short season, which is 7.2% off his worst year, his rookie season. So that number will come down further.

Careless with the ball tonight and also not hitting shots.

  15. iusedafakeemail1

Can Trae stop the 35/28/87 shooting splits pls thanks

  16. Blumpkin_Party

Trae stop shooting tour dates challenge.

  17. hotgoldminer

defense kept the game close. rebounding probably should have been the margin for us, but alas…

    our offense remains kinda ass.

okc has a clear identity on offense. and i guess so do we. they want to push the pace, attack the cup and then kick and swing. our weakside defense got exposed over and over again because we over help. well exploited by them.

but come the fuck on. how long are we going to tolerate single action offense where most of the players aren’t involved and just ball watch. quin gotta do better than this.

  18. Ajaxx42

This loss isn’t totally on him but I’m so mad that Trae is playing this bad with the rest of the team playing this good over the last few games. I’m not a doomer but I’m so worried that this version of him will be the norm (at least during the regular season).
Otherwise, not a terrible loss. The whole team was missing everything and couldn’t find a way to last minute comeback their way out of it with that 7 ft freak on the court.

  19. SuperAverageGuy

It’s a make or miss league. The team at least kept fighting and clawing back

  20. No-Forever-6104

Trae plays like he did against the pelicans and we walk out with a win but he thought he was on the Harlem globetrotters today

  21. gggg3344

Trae can you just fucking shoot above 40% holy fucking shit. The fact that it’s too much to ask for is a concern

  22. ATLiensinyosockdraw

As poorly as we played overall, if we just act like we’ve played basketball before at the end of the 2nd and 3rd qtrs, it’s a completely different game at the end against a decent team on the road. We essentially gifted them 5 points.

  23. justonekaye87

Shots weren’t falling tonight, but that 2 on 1 fast break where we couldn’t score a bucket and kept passing it back and forth was hard to watch.

On to the next, good matchup with the Magic in Mexico City, def gotta win this one both teams lost tonight.

  24. Atl-Fan_FTS

Trae needs to be making high end starter money not a super max. He’s literally getting paid too much to be playing like this for the first 2 months of every season

  25. gggg3344

When you start year after year slumping badly, you have to change something. Idk what’s going on, but is Trae’s shot broke? Like what’s going on, you can low key make an argument that he’s not a great shooter like Westbrook but he has the streakyness and can go off every now and then

  26. Standard-Big1474

Trae really needs to adjust his off-season routine. Starting slow every year is getting old

  27. CallMePapi930

After 3 straight years of greatness scoring the basketball(2020-2022) Trae has just completely dropped off as a scorer, what the fuck is going on??

  28. PrinceKarmaa

    trae 5/18
    hunter 2/13
    jalen 6/15
you won’t win with ur best guys shooting this poorly

  29. gggg3344

Trae honored in Norman by getting a street named after him.
Bro had to give back and give the hometown thunder a dub. Not to mention he built homes for the ones in need with all those bricks 🔥🔥🔥

    Truly a great person.

  30. Aardvark-0001

A silver lining? I thought our defense looked great from the start compared to all of our other games where the first quarter defense was horrendous. 😬

  31. noobrektsucks

today trae played exactly how r/nba thinks he plays normally

  32. WzrdKelly10

We’ve been playing from behind and shooting our way out of it most of the season so I knew it was bound to catch up to us soon. Almost did again tonight. Wish we could have shot it better as a whole but man we need Trae to get out this slump immediately when it comes to making shots. I think what made this one stick out though was that this was probably his worst playmaking game of the season. Lot of turnovers that went flying to the sidelines or straight up live balls. I can understand missed shots if you’re being smart everywhere else. Lock in gang.
