I missed some of this game, were the players actually ignoring AG or annoyed with him?

The Nets run a lot of small ball so I didn’t mind having Brook off the floor but I would have liked to see MarJon to close instead of BP. Makes sense though because he’s still young.

Rebounding still needs to be better.

  2. grudgepacker

Beautiful win, Griff maximized his closing lineup

  3. -raiin-

Like that Griffin threw a bunch of different looks out there.

I want Marjon playing 25+ minutes a night.

Wish Dame would be more aggressive but I’m confident that will come.

    Khris still has it.

Giannis is still the best player in the world.

  4. bigbobo33

Some of the decisions by AG in the fourth were great like inbounding it to Crowder on the otherside of the court.

    Very promising.

The team’s improving, slowly but surely.

  5. deniablebubbles

Defense looks rough still but I think there was plenty of good to take away. Would appreciate a blowout win here and there but it’s okay I’ll give them time

  6. Mayor_Of_Dogs

Thank you to the Nets for challenging Giannis at the rim the last two possessions (that mattered)

  7. FlipMoBitch

AG is the coach going forward and y’all need to get over it. Great game from him.

  8. Nickelnick24

In lineups where Damian is the only star out there, he can’t just be passing, it is his job to get the buckets and carry until Giannis is back. Don’t want to see any more Bobby post ups when Dame is right there.

  9. Blackmalico32

Bucks undefeated when Giannis and Dame combine for 50+ points

  10. thegoddamnIndian

Why is every game so close? I’m almost out of underwears

  11. B1ueEyesWh1teDragon

Big three all played well. We look so much better with Khris out there. Also that can Payne, Dame, Brook lineup was a total stinker and allowed Brooklyn to climb back into this one. I feel like we’re one athletic defensive shooting big away from being unstoppable.

  12. twonicelol

Give AJ Green and Marjon all of pat’s minutes. Love the guy, long time buck and hustle player. but I think it’s time. Good ugly win

  13. DiamondHandedApes

Giannis was DPOY NICE down the stretch

  14. Camel_Additional

Once Dame is clicking on offense….we are gonna be so scary

Believe in Griff to sort out the defense.

  15. Cayd9299

Damn good game. Still need to get Dame involved more. Giannis is Giannis. Really good coaching improvement. Good looks.

  16. Superflissbro

With all the bitching in the game thread you’d think we were getting blown out, some ya’ll gotta lighten up and realize this team isn’t gonna be looking crisp until like January.

  17. crmblngtgthr

The Bucks improve to 7-0 when I am in attendance! Smiling through it all I can’t believe this is my life!

  18. ShoopALoop11

Would like to see AJJ start to get some of Beasley’s minutes. Also need to get Dame more involved he is finding the open man but being too unselfish with the ball. Giannis taking 7 threes is a disaster and the team needs to get on him for it. Run and dunk with the occasional mid range my guy. Khris cooked and that was the difference down the stretch. If this team played to it’s strengths this one wouldn’t have been close. But close wins are always good learning experiences. Liked going smaller down the stretch.

  19. mczammer

Was surrounded by Nets fans at the game tonight but the boys pulled through!

  20. colinsncrunner

Giannis shooting seven 3s is an absolute joke

  21. realmarcusjones

Didn’t play very well, still won the game, and AG knows the best closing lineup. I’d like to see some Spain PnR mixed into the offense. I’m sure when Khris is playing more that will add a nice bit of playmaking and maybe they run some more stuff like that. Getting Dame moving off the ball some when Khris is de facto point guard would be nice

  22. dcandap

Dame standing right next to Giannis while he chucks up triple after triple… c’mon man, lol. Got the win but that would’ve been a sour spot had we lost.

  23. WeefBellington24

Yo why is Giannis taking 7 threes my dudes

  24. DrewsThoughts

We are 4-2 and are only going to get better as the year goes on. I’m very pleased

  25. emperorxyn

Giannis won that. So glad we have him.

  26. dcandap

I absolutely love AG’s inbound game. So many crafty scoring plays out of timeouts.

  27. TheAirIsOn

I heard a lot of fans cheering whenever the Bucks scored. I didn’t take Brooklyn as a city with a lot of bucks fans. Especially after what happened in 2021

  28. expletivenature

GDTs have been vascillating between anti and pro Giannis so fast it is dizzying! He won us that game. Clutch defense…but he still loves shooting those 3s. Hopefully with time we will get the Giannis/Dame PnRs we need.

Also….Kha$h Money till the day I die!

  29. Ghostofclaybobpast

Lots to like tonight. Crunch time offense was great even with dame being a decoy. Giannis looked great and he honestly has all season. Not sure why there have been so many posts asking if giannis still has it. But giannis took the game over on both ends once he came back in with 6 minutes left. Love the midds crunch time minutes, him and giannis have a chemistry which lillard doesn’t have yet. Which is expected. Also love that coach griffin benched lopez and went small in the final minutes. That made a difference.

The cons….. Dame was bad tonight. He was a -14 and it showed. His minutes without giannis were particularly bad. Outside of a couple game saving shots dame has looked very rusty. We are obviously still experimenting with different defenses which is expected. We went zone tonight but it was pretty sloppy. A lot of work to do there. The main thing that bothers me is lazy transition defense showing up again. Don’t remember that ever being an issue under bud, but it’s been an issue this season.

  30. 1antinomy

Dame is struggling immensely because no one passes him the ball when he’s open

No one is setting proper screens for him

And he’s basically having to score everything off 1-on-1 plays & FTs

He can’t get into any sort of rhythm offensively

  31. leefordj

Giannis was incredible tonight, I’d just like for him to find Dame more. Dude is shooting over brick walls while Dame is wide open on the wing. Khris looked amazing tonight. Dame is struggling from 3 but that will change and he still gave 21-7-6 with 1 turnover and his FT shooting ability as well as his closing is as good as anyone’s.

  32. coolguybobby

Giannis played great. He did he did he did- no doubting that. But shooting 7 threes- some where Dame was next to him calling for the ball- is unacceptable. No other word for it. I get Dame wasn’t having a good shooting night, but he might’ve had a better one if Giannis shared those shots with him. Our best option on offense should never be a 3 from Giannis. He has to eradicate that from his bag ASAP.

  33. deevotionpotion

Everyone that was saying Jae was done should revoke their Couch GM rights.

  34. ParadiseLost34

Did anyone see Thanasis flex on Griffin after Giannis hit a 3? Did I imagine that?

  35. wearealmostdone

Loved to see coach Griff dare i say it cook just a little bit in that 4th quarter. Dame is the one deciding not to be aggressive… we figure that out, perfect this zone, and the blowouts will come

  36. Jabarles

Khris is still an assassin and that’s fantastic to see.

  37. Idk what Dame’s deal is, but he’s way too passive as the ball handler and guy coming off the screen. Maybe he’s just trying to get used to the team dynamic / playing with the main rotations guys? He definitely has the runway to push the ball more. The good news is this team seems to have a ceiling we can’t even comprehend yet.

Giannis is still the best player in the world, Khash is moist Jordan, Bucks in 6.

  38. nodudeee

Giannis looking more into game shape. Hes playing with more control and less turnovers.

  39. Buujoom

    * Griffin was able to redeem a bit of himself on the 4th. Loved how his defensive scheme strength was highlighted, especially on the last few 3 minutes of the game. But his offensive schemes are still questionable. We really need that replacement of Terry.
    * Dame had the ball a lot of times when Giannis was out, but he somehow decided to pass it more often, rather than taking the shot. Weird. Probably just him feeling off. idk.
    * Giannis showing why he’s our guy. Tho I still can’t see the chemistry between him and Dame. He chucked a lot of shots all the while Dame was at the back waiting for the ball. I’d just hope our guy would come to realize that him not passing the ball and forcing a lot of jumpers and 3s isn’t the answer. Would give him the pass last season because he is literally the only one igniting our offense. We have Dame now.
    * It’s nice to see Khris play more minutes. You can instantly tell that the flow of the game was different when he was on court. He was efficient and clean. Can’t wait to see more of Giannis-Khris-Dame later this season.
    * Our crew, while not perfect, are starting to adapt with their new roles, and it’s nice to see them play it out when they get called.
    * Also, Marjon is really that guy. He’s vastly improving. Even when he’s not scoring, he’s able to contribute in other ways.

I believe we just need a few more games to build that team cohesion. You can already see it working as early as now. Just imagine if this team figures it out…we’re gonna be pretty deep. We just really need more time. Also, this was probably one of the entertaining games we’ve had this season. There was more Bucks identity to it.

  40. ILoveOnline

Not the prettiest game but it’s essential to bank whatever wins they can while the team is still figuring stuff out

  41. AnotherGeeksFan

Giannis I give you full permission to take as many 3s as you want!

I want 10 3s a game! Get the reps in now!

We know Dame can shoot. Why waste a flamethrower on early season games?

If they leave Giannis wide open at the three, he has earned the right to put up shots.

How do you become a better shooter? YOU SHOOT!

    FOREVER MY MVP
    #LETITFLY!
