Target Center is a fortress. The best offense in the NBA needed overtime and a metric ton of sketchy calls to score 109 on us. Ant proved tonight he can drag the whole team to victory even when he’s in foul trouble all night. Three signature wins against four of the last teams standing last year. Holy shit that was exhilarating.

I’ve been watching that all season and I’ve been critical of Rudy hurting the offense, but the defense today was some of the best I’ve ever seen. He’s the reason we won that game outside of Ant and Jaden, Boston couldn’t get anything at the rim.
Best offense in the NBA just got held to 109 in an OT game.
Amazing win! Only downside is a lot of the talk will be about how bad KAT was. Don’t let that take the lead, this game was about the Timberwolves breaking through to become a good team. This is a SIGNATURE win. This is what you need to do to get to where we want to be. Took out undefeated Denver, took out undefeated Boston. Incredible.

This was only a stepping stone in the legend of Anthony Edwards, he was a marvel to watch in OT to say the least. Gave me chills.
JMac struggled early but really came up big when we needed him, some great 1 on 1 defense on Brown and Tatum.

Rudy missed 9 free throws but did everything else on the floor almost flawlessly, his defense has been nothing short of outstanding to begin the season.
And I hate to bring him up after how outstanding this game was but KAT needs to get it together man, had a good offensive stretch against the size mismatch in Holiday but his lack of body control and emotion took him out of the game entirely, he was near invisible in the 4th quarter and was hurting his team down the stretch.
