Y’all wanna know why Mitch is huffing and puffing all the time. THIS is why. Dude is an absolute unhinged monster on the offensive glass.

Explains why the Wolves are a tough matchup for the Knicks.

Mitchell Robinson is a god and he’s gonna humble Wemby.

    You know what’s crazy.

    Tyson Chandler averaged:

    2012 (All NBA/DPOY) 11.3ppg / 9.9rpg / 1.4bpg
    2013 (All-Star) 10.4ppg / 10.7rpg / 1.1bpg

2014 had similar numbers but Knicks weren’t as good and his scoring was down. Back then (crazy to say that about 2010s, feels like yesterday) guys did still play back to the basket, so interior defending was important on big men.

But man if Mitch can get to 10ppg (not super crazy since he is 8.2ppg for a career) he can be an All-Star. Back in the 2010s in the Post Dwight era it was not clear who was best center. Guys like Joakim Noah, Marc Gasol, and DeAndre Jordan we’re ALL-NBA 1st team guys. All defensive studs, mainly back to basket and rebounding guys.

Now of course w Embiid and Jokic the center position is MUCH different but Mitch at 10/11/1.5 could sneak into the all-star game if healthy.

Long rant but anyway Mitch is super solid for the team, just wish he could get 4-6ppg more and other teams will have a HUGE problem on their hands. If Mitch is only good for 6-8ppg and mainly off of OREBs you kinda just let it happen but if Mitch can average 10-12ppg and knowing some games his offense might just be 6ppg BUT others might be 14-16ppg, teams will have such a tough time leaving him to double Randle if Mitch is gonna make you pay and drop a 16/12/2 night.

It’s good to see Big Mitch getting some recognition. Anchoring the second best defense in the league.
