Joe Mazzulla gives the Wolves a lot of credit for their defensive pressure knocking the Celtics off their game. But was this first loss a blessing in disguise? “75 games (left)? I think we’ll have a lot of blessings in disguise.”

Anthony Edwards hitting the shots he did is just part of basketball first and foremost. The fact the game was even close was impressive. Tatum almost willed the team to victory. They play top notch/top tier defense. It’s hard to win games against teams like them. You also don’t play defenses like that every game. Shrug your shoulders and move on. They’re in the West. Not our problem.

I’m not ready for the Cole Anthony masterclass when the Celtics play Orlando

Wolves defense is a problem for sure but the late game offense was still not good. We were still running way too much JB/JT isos, and it clearly never works.

No idea why we didn’t run more JT/KP pick and roll action. That would’ve at the very least caused mismatches and pulled Gobert out of the paint.

That was afucking fun game to watch. Wish they won but dude Edwards is a fucking star

Wolves literally just beat the Nuggets. They are a good team, good teams can make other good teams look worse sometimes. And we were literally down a starter and lost in OT to a budding superstar on a heater.

If White is in Ant doesn’t get to pick on Horford in OT. Could have really made a difference.

I can understand the MJ comparisons for Edward. Too fast too strong jumps too high.

Mazulla and not using timeouts… is killing me. It was hard to watch last year, and it’s hard to watch now.

The wolves are a very good team so losing to them in OT on the road isn’t a big deal. What does piss me off is not calling a timeout on the final possession. You could see the iso 3 coming from a mile away when jb was dribbling with his back turned to the basket 35 feet out 10 seconds left. Call the fucking timeout and run a play when you only need 2 to win fucks sake.

Man pritchard can’t give us anything on offense back to back 0 pt games is crazy

Horford and Jrue were absolutely horrible today plus we were missing D White. We’ll be fine. 60+ wins is still definitely a possibility with this team.

I don’t care we lost. I care that the offense looked like shit. That porzingis was just standing in the corner. That we just did isolation. We have the best team in the league, USE THEM!

I’m concerned that our bench is not good enough for us to win honestly

Bench is really really bad. Gotta win games where two of your starters drop 30 pieces and one drops 20. Zinger should’ve been more involved in the offense at the end too, had flashbacks to Mavs games. Everything is not going to be perfect to start off. Wolves played an incredible game but we still kept it close despite some really subpar play. D White is huge for this team.

I get that we lost (we’re still no 1 in the East) but this was a fun game. Edwards hit some crazy shots towards the end
