Even though the Hawks lost this game. This game showed me a lot about this team. And I am very encouraged.
This is the type of game that Quinn will say " Hey, fellas you can't win them all, you gonna have bad shooting nights. But if you do what I say…we blow this team out despite the bad shooting night.
People OKC is def one of the better team's in the NBA. They are very talented. But, If the Hawks shot better they beat this OKC team easy!
Ladies and Gents, you have a real one in this Hawks team. Once they out it all together…. Smh look out.
All these losses are Trae young’s fault. We can’t rely on our role players to show up every night. All Trae has to do is shoot a little better and not be a turnover machine and we are damn near undefeated
I was so angry when Quinn took out Murray before the end of the half and subbed Trae in. Then Trae instantly turns the ball over and OKC made a 3🤬
We can’t keep trying to come back down double digits it’s not sustainable.. we need to play from start to finish .. and Trae HAVE to be better .. tough to win when the whole team shoot the way they did absolutely but if Trae gave us a classic Trae game we probably still win this one .. on to the next

I never questioned Trae off-season work ethic until now.
The thunder looked beatable, I feel like we beat ourselves.
The refs were awful
They gave us midrange shots and we passed them up. We have guys to capitalize but we didn’t and the defense looooooooved it.
As the coach said they couldnt overcome missing open shots early.. still a competitive game…
