We just gotta fight through the growing pains. Sochan has struggled the last 2 games but don’t forget his play against the Suns

Having Vassell out also hurts cause it puts too much pressure on not just Sochan but Wemby and the other guys. Vassell is our best young shooter and most consistent offensive creator

Overall I don’t think Sochan will ever be a real PG but the skills he could develop from running point will help his development. Just like how the Bucks ran Giannis at PG early in his career

Is it when the whole fan base has a boner for drafting Collier or another star PG potentially? Sochan has a ceiling. We shouldn’t expect him to figure out PG and shouldn’t put him in this situation. As a secondary or third play maker sure. He has no court vision and major tunnel vision, which a good PG cannot have.

His defense and tenacity are his best parts. If you can’t make layups or 3s you can’t be a starting PG I am sorry.

We need two floor generals who can defend and shoot

The debate is not: Is Sochan the PG for our future? The answer is definitely no. The whole reason for The Point Sochan experiment is to develop his playmaking and ball skills to help him be a more complete overall player down the road. But I really don’t think anyone expects him to be our actual PG on a title contending team.

I think this is the wrong way of doing it, though.
