I remember the buying NBA Live 08 and playing with the Blazers. The Sixers were godawful and that Blazers team was just exciting. They had peak Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge, a recently drafted Greg Oden and a whole bunch of young guys including Nicolas Batum.
I probably played out a 5 year franchise with these guys and Batum was a guy that I just always liked and followed since that time. I also remember hating Jerryd Bayless and trading him away because he was so trash.
Long story short, I like Batum here. I think he’s a great fit and I’m confident he’s going to be a fan favorite before long.
