Los Angeles Clippers All Star guard Paul George speaks to the media following the Clippers 111-97 loss to the New York Knicks. George finished the game with 10 points, & 7 rebounds.
It’s good that they lost this way they don’t take things lightly. It’s going to make them things sooner than later and that this is a working progress. They should know that they are stars, but they should play like role-play players at the same time.

Before the trade, they had role players who worked hard in the off-season. Batum, Covington, and Morris were tough role players. After the trade, back to the drawing board. Unfortunate injury for Mason Plumlee. This would be another challenging season.
I live in the greater Philly area, so as a lifelong Sixers fan I think I can be somewhat objective about the Clippers. While Paul George is arguably the most frustrating, inconsistent star in the history of the NBA, he still is my favorite player due to his top tier talent. I can’t imagine how frustrated the Clippers fans must be. For five years they have been told by the Clippers management and players that things will come together, things will gel. There’s been a lot of “moving parts” and they just need more time playing together. I watch a lot of Clippers games and what I constantly see is a team that lacks cohesiveness, intensity, focus, defense, accountability, drive and clutch playing at the right time/at crunch time by its superstars on a regular basis. Sure, they can do these things on occasion, but not on a sustained basis. What they don’t lack is excuses. How long will the Clippers fans this year hear we are figuring it out, we’ll be good no need to worry. I feel for you Clippers fans. Unfortunately I think this season will be a repeat for the Clippers – under performance.
Pg gotta play off the ball and let harden and rus find him. Dive cuts ball screens moving without the ball. They cant just stand around and qatch each other iso or they will get slaughtered. Teams are playing together and shooting the 3 at a high clip.
