Have Richuan Holmes or Seth Curry played any games recently??

I haven’t seen them be used in these recent games. I’m just wondering are they injured or are they just benchwarmers??

Seth will probably get playing time tonight with Luka and/or KAI likely sitting out.

Holmes won’t play unless we are in a blowout, and unfortunately that hasn’t been the case yet

I’d love to see Holmes get some minutes if for no other reason than to elevate any trade value he might have.

I remember in the offseason there were quotes from him saying he felt like he was in jail because of the limited playing time he was getting in Sac. I wonder how he feels now 😂

  4. I kinda feel bad for him. I think if given the limited minutes he could be effective for us.

Like, a better Powell off the bench. And it’s not that bad to have many bigs I mean hey, we severely lacked them for years and at least now we have decent backup bigs.

  5. Maybe Holmes is still learning our defense or something.

You can see exactly how much they have (or have not) played [here on the NBA.com website.](https://www.nba.com/stats/team/1610612742/players-traditional)

Above the table, where it says “Players” and then “Traditional” you can see all manner of things. For example, clicking on “Players” gives you a drop down menu including things like “Box Scores” and you can look at how much Seth played in which game and how his box score looked like.

Or, you can click on Seth’s name in the table, change “Profile” to “Advanced box scores” and you get [this wonderful table](https://www.nba.com/stats/player/203552/boxscores-traditional). Clicking on any of the numbers in blue leads you to a selection of interesting graphics

For example, clicking on the “5” in the “Nov 01 2023, DAL vs CHI” row, “FGA” column gives you Seth’s [shot chart for the game.](https://www.nba.com/stats/events?CFID=&CFPARAMS=&ContextMeasure=FGA&GameID=0022300124&PlayerID=203552&Season=2023-24&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&TeamID=1610612742&flag=2&sct=plot&section=game)

This isn’t all – you can even watch video clips from plays by clicking on blue numbers [here](https://www.nba.com/stats/player/203552/shooting), under Splits, Shooting.

It’s a great resource, hope you enjoy using it!

Imagine Holmes in the Powell role getting some of them passes in the lane when Luka gets doubled. His floater in the lane was what he did best. He’s also been a good rebounder and shot blocker throughout his career.

I hate when coaches do this shit, just stick with the same ol guys instead of trying something knew. Powell isn’t good enough that Holmes can’t get a look. Maybe you have a guy who can solve some of your problems right on your fucking bench.

Powell has looked great in a backup role and Hardy/Exum have outplayed Seth imo when the three have gotten limited opportunities. I wouldn’t expect to see a lot of either until injuries start popping up.

And I don’t want to see fans slandering them for it either. We’ve got a deep bench. That’s a new and great thing for us. It will be massive for us when Luka/Kyrie/Lively start missing games here and there.

Being able to turn to Seth or Exum instead of McKinley Wright or Holmes instead of JaVale or Pinson like we had to last year could be enough to swing a few games.
