I love how twitter last night was rife with Luka and Kyrie stans arguing about fit when we’ve had the 2nd best offense thus far.

Stretches like this is why it’s important that they figure out how to get it done against teams in the bottom of the conferences. We’ve seen Luka go nuclear to win games and we have seen role players step up to win games, both of those and everything in between will be necessary to consistently have a winning record during the regular season.

The data is a bit skewed by the fact that those “worst “defenses are that way because they played the Mavs in one of their first five games.

I think 5-1 is a great start, but outside of Denver, we’ve beaten fairly weak teams. #6 might be a bit generous, but not too far off the mark. I’d put us closer to #8, but definitely top 10.
If you’re just looking at the record, then yes, we should be top 5, but our strength of schedule hasn’t been that tough so far.
In the next 3 weeks we play the Clippers twice, the Lakers, the Kings, the Pelicans twice and the Bucks. It’s going to be a hard road until we get to that Rockets game on the 28th.
The team will be fully tested this month and I hope they’ll be ready for it.
