John Hollinger, of all people, with Moody as one of his ‘10 NBA players you need to know from the season’s first two weeks’

Super happy for Moses, nothing like seeing guys figure out ways they can make an impact. Everyone wants to be a star, but finding ways to get on the floor and stay on the floor always impresses more.

  2. Moses deserves all the accolades but Moody outleaping Wiseman was probably not a cathartic moment for me as a Warriors fan as Hollinger stated. I feel bad for Wiseman being buried in the Pistons bench and not being offered a rookie extension by the Pistons like Moody and Kuminga. James has all the height and skills but just doesn’t have the basketball instincts to make an impact on the court.

I hate Hollinger so much I have an Athletic sub but purposely skipped over this article – figured he’d pick a bunch of no-name Grizzlies. Good to see Moody on here, I guess. Still tho fuck Hollinger

  4. I almost felt bad for James Wiseman after that Pistons game but then I remembered he’ll have ~$48m in career earnings after just his rookie contract is done and I didn’t feel so bad anymore.

  5. I’ve been a Moody truther since day 1. Kuminga gets all the hype because he’s more explosive and athletic, and he definitely has a really high ceiling. But since the start, you could tell Moody had a mind for the game, and solid fundamentals. I love that we have both these guys. Moody’s been a bit streaky with his 3 shot, but when he’s on he’s ON. I hope he continues to get more minutes.
