Isn't East VS West is also removing spots if you have more best players in the West? As long as it is not a draft of the top 30 you have this issue so the argument against it is limited.

For those curious, last year had 16 USA players and 8 International players.

Problem with Jefferson opinion is AllStars don’t play hard against each other. AllStars have dug this hole by not competing.
