Joel Embiid recorded 27 points (10-20 FG), 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the 76ers, while Tyrese Maxey added 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the victory. Kristaps Porzingis tallied a game-high 29 points, along with 6 rebounds and 3 assists for the Celtics. The 76ers improve to 6-1 on the season, while the Celtics fall to 5-2.

This sixers defense is unbelievable. They held both tatum and brown to under 20 on horrific shooting numbers. That’s very hard to pull off. JB didn’t do a single meaningful thing the entire game, and it was usually maxey guarding him, he’s really improving on that end as well. It’s still very early but they look like a very good, complete basketball team
