This team is a Ja Morant away from winning games… and Ja Morant is 17 games away from being allowed to play.
Miss the next man up days…
*The Memphis Bizzlies fall to 1-2
Kennard is back but sadly I don’t think Marcus smart is the guy I hoped he would be
The worst part is just even when, and they usually are, the games are close, they just seem miserable to watch most of the time. Just terrible play way too much of the game and then like, somehow being close at the end of the game, almost by accident, to trick you into wasting your time watching the whole stupid thing.
Taylor jenkins is a clown, us not having Ja just exposes him that he can’t do anything but to call Ja pick n roll in the 4th qtr
Some of these games have been quite cruel to experience. I am going to savor every single Ja game from here on out.
This offense is hard to watch man. Just absolutely putrid
One of the things I don’t see people mentioning is how this game showed Bane’s limits as a #1 perimeter option. He really wasn’t able to shake Jimmy & create any good looks
Genuinely curious. How poor can they perform in this stretch before Jenkins’ feet are on the fire. I assume 3-22 would not be acceptable right?
We’re definitely playing better and Bismack is looking like a nice addition so I’m not too broken up about narrowly losing to the eastern conference champions.
Glad we made the adjustment to stop Bam from taking uncontested 6 footers in the paint…
I can’t be the only thinking we should still be better even with what we have. 4-4 and no one’s sweating a bit but 1-7? At this point we can easily be 8-17 when Ja comes back..
The Grizzlies are now 1-1 in games where I do not watch live, I’m sorry everyone I thought I had the answer
Miami games are always a slog but felt like we gave Bam 6 wide open 13 foot jumpers this game. Smart calling his own number was too much but Miami was doing a decent job forcing him into being the shot-taker. Still the actions the Grizz have on offense need to have a little more to them – Santi at the high post, double screens, something to make the defense have to work slightly harder and maybe you get a good look.
TAYLOR JENKINS! YOU 🫵 ARE THE NEXT COACH OF THE NATIONAL INDIAN BASKETBALL TEAM!
Taylor Jenkins’ defensive philosophy is just letting Bam Adebayo get open jumpers galore.
When are people going to realize we need a change man…
I’m gonna say it. I miss Dillon Brooks
JJJ with another 20+ game. Sit Down, Biyombo with another 10 boards. Luke might possibly maybe be finding his stroke again. Fought hard and almost came back but yeeeeeea. No bueno. We really needed a healthy D Rose during this stretch. Also sucks to have Tillman hurt as soon as we add Bismack and get Santi back. We need all the help we can get with Ja out so we have zero margin for error. Until then the offense will be offensive. Shit sucks but there are better days ahead
I mean had good chances to win but the offense just didn’t get going when we got close.
Not the best game from our two starting guards but great stuff from Jaren, Aldama, Biyomb, Kennard, and Gilyard
