Syracuse picked up the 89-77 victory over Canisius on a night where the Orange shot an efficient 54% from the floor. They were paced by Judah Mintz, who went 8-15 and 2-3 from range with 26 points and 4 assists. JJ Starling followed up with 17 points, 7 assists, and 7 boards of his own, while Justin Taylor and Chris Bell combined for 25. Taylor also added 7 rebounds.

Looks like it's going to be a long year. This is the most unorganized team I've seen since my student years at SU in the late 60's at Manley. I've watched most games either in person or on TV since my campus days.
No defense, no offensive organization. I've seen more team organization in pickup games on the playground.
