hoping we can still be 6 or at 5 by game ten… I know it’s early, but I actually think we can avoid the play in just barely this year, provided injuries don’t hit our top 2.
Defense is gonna be our bread and butter this year and is a mark of a good playoff team.
Young teams usually struggle defensively so being top 5 after playing some solid offenses is simply amazing
I understand we got some offensive woes and major inconsistencies on that end but truthfully I don’t think anything will fix that except time… we’re getting good looks, they just gotta fall.
I’d grade the start a B+, considerable defensive improvement. Turnovers and shooting still holding us back from truly breaking out.

Hawks games tomorrow will give us a better idea I think. But what would I know I’m just an aussie
B+ for sure- encouraging but a few signs of worry
It’s a decent start but the real question is can we maintain it for the rest of the year
In terms of record, I’d give us an A-. We’ve beaten all the teams on or below our level, plus the Lakers who we don’t usually match up well with. Can’t ask for much more than that.
Performance wise I’d say B, maybe B-. Defence has been good, but shooting has been woeful. It’s troubling how the Clippers, Mavs, and Lakers all exposed us with basic defensive scheming. But maybe that’s less about performance and more just a reality check of our talent level.
When you factor in the brutal schedule, we’ve done well. Going to Mexico City to play a “home game” and then back to play the Bucks 48 hours later, is bullshit.
B- let two get away that we could have had. And started 6-1 and put the league on notice. But we’re a young team and that’s to be expected with the growing pains
