God I just wish we had more than 5 actual nba players on our team

Tried to tell y’all we’d regret losing DB.

Edit: I don’t care about your opinions on Dillon. You don’t need to reply to me with your shitty takes. DB is the man in my eyes and one of my favorite Grizzlies ever, above the likes of MAC11 and Gasol. I promise you’re yelling at a brick wall.

i dont believe we would have gotten this version of Dillon had he stayed. the problem was Jenkins not holding him accountable for playing outside of the team identity. when Dillon would shoot us out of games he faced no immediate consequences from the coaches or his teammates..they always encouraged him to “keep shooting” when that was obviously hurting the team

his shot attempts are way down and his efficiency is way up in Houston. i think alot of it is Ime Udoka getting Dillon to buy into his role and take less shots. i always wanted this version of Dillon to reign himself in and be happy w less shots but our team for whatever reason, being it coaching style, or Dillon himself feeling some sort of entitlement due to being the longest tenured Grizzly, was always ill equipped to do that. so Dillon is in a good situation that has been conducive to his game maturing and im happy for him cause he always been a hell of a player.
