I don’t understand why people hate Jaylen so much. Tatum played slightly better tonight but not much and had 6 turnovers last game, mostly cause neither do great in slow paced games. Don’t see any hate posts about Tatum tho.

He’s not a bad player. Anyone that thinks he’s a bad player is biased for some reason or just never watches games.
HOWEVER, he is a horrifically inconsistent player who makes major mistakes at very inopportune times and is not worth the supermax contract. Even at the regular max it would make his spot much more palatable, but the fact that he currently has the biggest contract in the NBA is asinine. His game has far too many holes and flaws to be paid at that level, and his contract will be an anchor to this franchise for the next 5 years unless some team is convinced with draft capital to take it on.
