Game Recap: Grizzlies 112, Blazers 100



The Grizzlies ended the quarter on a 26-2 run, holding the Blazers scoreless for over the last five minutes of the game and win their first game of the season, 112-100 in Portland. Desmond Bane led the Grizzlies with 30 points, eight rebounds, and five assists as Jaren Jackson Jr. (27 points, seven rebounds) and Luke Kennard (15 points, five rebounds) totaled 42 points. Jerami Grant had a team-high 27 points for Portland while Shaedon Sharpe (18 points, eight rebounds) and Malcolm Brogdon (18 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds) combined for 36. Memphis improves to 1-6 and Portland moves to 3-4.

  1. Grizzlies won because they were good in the 4th and Portland collapsed literally at the end. But the coach won't be able to count on that every game and he wasn't responsible for any of it. Players did it. He is the worst NBA coach
