Hey Keith you still think Maxey can't run point? Lol
The Sixers can really win it all but they need to fortify the center position behind Embiid. Specifically for going against the Bucks they need another big man. I keep saying they should go & get Tacko Fall. I believe he has more mobility than before & can keep up "defensively." He'd make more of a difference than Bamba. I believe Nurse can bring the best out of him & revive his career.
I disagree that the sixers look happier than last season. That's all made up in John's head. The difference is that they are winning. The team was looking happy last season when they started to figure things out and started winning so many games.
Can y'all imagine if Nick Nurse replaces Melton with Batum in the starting lineup?

Tatum never does much against Sixers. Boston bench is abysmal. So they play Boston 4 times in a season and 2 at home so lets play them twice in a week at home. And then a 3rd time 3 weeks later. Who the fk makes these schedules.? Ridiculous

I can’t remember another time where i saw such a high level of sustained defensive intensity from the Sixers. The defensive rotations on the perimeter were flat out phenomenal! I’m really impressed with how Coach Nurse has the guys playing

Boston has been on the road almost all season. Boston played a terrible game with many self induced errors. Celtics ARE NOT WORRIED.

I’m surprised there isn’t more talk comparing Maxey to Damian Lillard. Their numbers are comparable in their 4th seasons. Both avg 25 ppg, Maxey is avg more assists and boards, albeit only through 7 games this year. Maxey is also 2 years younger than Lillard was in his 4th year.
The Sixers has a coach who’s not afraid to let guys play freely, and that’s the key to there early success. Maxey, Harris, BBall Paul and especially Embiid and playing the way they are suppose to play. They no longer play a two man robotic system. This team will exceed there expectations mainly because of Nick Nurse everyone on the bench will develop and contribute. This was a statement game.

This game means nothing to Boston. Mentality game means more for tobias, embid, n maxey. Lol. Nick put oubre at shooting guard n run offense through him sometimes. Team better w nick, maybe but doc never had oubre or batum!! Still concern is our stars showing up closing out games
