A lot of those lower bowl empty seats are prolly season seats and they’ve already been paid for

  2. lillithfair98

a sell out means all the seats were sold. it doesn’t mean everyone is going to attend.

all those seats in the screenshot that are available are re-sale tickets, of course you can see them during the game. it’s people who bought tickets and can’t/are not going to attend, trying to sell the seats.

This girl’s Toronto accent is THICC lol

  4. AlexRescueDotCom

That’s sick to my stomach fam

  5. Winter_Purpose8695

Keep spamming this, this needs to reach mlse big brain department

  6. oxxoMind

Those seats are already sold, either corporate or season holders.
Yah, some people just have a ton of money that they dont really care to sell the spot

In paper, raps tickets are sold out, will someone actually sit on it? That’s another question

  7. earlyearlgray

Regardless if they’re sold or not – the ticket prices need to come down. They’re the 4th most expensive tickets in the league. The average ticket price is $150 which is absurd.

  8. theabomination

I was at the Bucks game, to be honest it looked really sold out to me. I fully agree that the prices are ridiculous though

  9. Fxp1706

i agree but you already know those renovations ain’t paying for themselves.

  10. Lmao they’re priced like we just one the damn championship last season lol. This team didn’t even make the playoffs.

There’s a lot of re-sale tickets, there’s season tickets that didn’t show up, and then there’s also the fact that she said it’s a minute into the 2nd quarter so people are probably still in the bathroom/getting concessions.

The ticket prices she shows are not outrageous either. Row 16 for $425 isn’t that crazy, that’s what you pay to sit that close to the floor for a lot of teams. It dropping down to $135 is an awesome deal. I’d love to get tickets row 14 for that much. Of course it’s pricey, but that’s a luxury once a year outing to sit in those good of seats at a Raps game.

I get it sucks that tickets are more expensive than they used to be and it’s harder for a lot of people to afford, but it isn’t this outrageous thing that we’re making it out to be here

Telling MLSE to lower ticket prices is like telling a blind dog to play fetch

  13. Constant-Squirrel555

I’m okay with this, can finally afford to go see a game of prices go down lol

  14. timbutnottebow

I stopped my season tickets when they increased the price by 1/3 in one year for no reason. I was about to have a kid and I was done with busting my ass to break even on some resales. Obviously they traded for kawhi two months later …

  15. k_jones

They raised the prices 20% this season for all season seat holders. After raising them 8% each year for the 3 years before that.

Hey valued season seat holder, be stuck selling your tickets at exorbitant prices so we can squeeze every last dollar out of you and your friends while you suffer through watching a shit product. Oh… but just post on resale sites. All you have to do is charge 30% higher than that to cover the fees.

  16. RhysHarp

Well their first priority is to maximize revenue.. so if 80% of tickets sell at $400 then that’s better than 100% at $100, they’re not stupid

  17. We all want lower prices so it’s easier to attend, but surely people can see that 1 ticket sold at $450 is the same as 3 at $150 (concessions excluded). So if they are selling tickets at 3x the price and the building is over 1/3 full, MLSE is still ahead. Determining the true break even point factor would require statistics on average concession sales and labour cost per attendee, but close enough.

If you don’t think they are monitoring this like a hawk, you’re out of your mind. They’ve decided this price point is the most profitable.

  18. WineOhCanada

They’re trying to maple leaf us! Expensive ass seats for a losing ass team.

  19. adamast0r

If the scalpers are buying them, then why would MLSE care?

Was at the Philly game and it was the most dead atmosphere I had experienced since the Bosh era. GO Train being down may have been a factor though.

  21. JustIncredible240

I’ve been to well over 100 raptors games since their inaugural season.. This might be the first year I don’t attend a single game as the ticket prices aren’t worth it.

  22. Frobe81

Used to go to at least 5 games per year and at least twice during playoffs during we the north era… haven’t been back since going only ONCE in 2019 due to prices

  23. hobbitlover

Lower the ticket prices! Also, $60M is reasonable for a big-name player!
