Article from Danny Chau, probably the only Ringer staff member who knows the Raptors beat.

I think most fans will agree that Pascal will become the Pippen to Scottie’s Jordan.

Got a feeling Masai is going to let P walk away this summer.

In the long view it all depends on if they can either get A) Guard that fits in the age range with Scottie that’s an upgrade and/or B) Centre that spaces the floor.

If they can do so while keeping all 3 of the core pieces then you can keep the team together. If you can’t without trading one of them then it’s a tougher ask.

Actually a surprisingly good article and they absolutely hit it on the head. My personal view is that it will end up coming down to what the team looks like as we get toward the later part of the season. Pascal is showing signs that he’s adjusting and that could result in a very different outcome then if he continues to play similar to how he has up until recently this year.

  5. Siakam is only as good as whoever the first option is on the team. Having a superstar like Kawhi who’s had champion and deep playoff run experience and is a top 75 HOF lock helps. I love Scottie but I’m not going to get ahead of myself and say he’ll ever reach Kawhi at his peak. I think scoring wise he’ll probably hover around 20-24 points per game which is kind of on the lower end these days with how inflated stats are with free throws and 3 pointers.

  6. Pascal has shown his willingness to let Barnes lead on the floor

I’m proud of both of them for working together

You could see the high low chemistry between them during the Dallas game

Versus San Antonio Pascal was perfectly comfortable with Scottie leading dead ball huddles on the floor

It is the right way to move forward and they can definitely do this 😎💎

  7. I feel like JAK is not the Center we needed. We need someone more like Myles Turner who can spread the floor on offense and protect the rim on defense plus rebound.

With spacing – Scottie B Spicy Skills would be an amazing duo
