Joel Embiid definitely is motivated by Jokic's impressive performance also being that they were neck and neck last season for the MVP and although he won that the latter won the chip, so this Sixers impressive start has got to do with those factors fs.. that's just my take though

I, for one, am not shocked at all that they are better without Harden. Maxey, especially at this point in their careers, is a much better player. They are going to be a top 3 seed. If they keep growing and can add some pieces, they will be in the mix. The Nick Nurse effect also shows just how poorly coached this team has been for years. For the first time since Larry Brown, they look organized, innovative, and everyone seems to know their role.
