For this team, i don’t need stats to tell me it’s Dennis

  2. canadiandogma

The one who doesn’t cost over 100 million

  3. SiakamMIP

I don’t know how else to say this, but everytime Dennis is moving out there he looks like he’s got this athletic violence and intention in his every move that you sometimes see in Giannis but in just a 6’3 body instead.

  4. ThisIsGodsWord

Gotta wait and see offensively. But as far as point of attack defence… Dennis is so much better. Fred’s knees are not what they used to be.

I’d pick the world MVP and champion any day. Over a guy who probably couldn’t even make the cut for his team. ![img](emote|t5_2s5sb|5166)![img](emote|t5_2s5sb|5531)

Dennis, I actually fell in love with his game when he was with the Lakers. There were times on the court where he was their best player on defense and was chasing down everything. I do expect a fall off at some point, but he’s been a huge bright spot so far.

how many more years do we need to see that fred isn’t a good offensive player? horribly inefficient and will probably worsen as he ages. good pick up for houston tho

  8. CaptainIndoCanadian

Dennis for us but gotta hand it to FVV as well because he’s actively changing the culture over there in Houston. They clearly signed him not just for his productivity but also to be a leader. That team is listening to him.

  9. Training-Site-7019

I thought Dennis would be good on this team but he’s even better than I thought he was

  10. Limp_Excitement1126

Both are my guys fuck yall. Fred needed his bag and we needed Dennis

  11. okayest_engineer

This needs to stop! There’s no point …

  12. BucketsAndBattles

Cmon guys. I love Dennis too, and yes he’s a better fit for our current team. But the question is who is better right now? It’s FVV. Let’s not slander one of our greats like this.

  13. Initial_Stretch_3674

lol, FVV living rent free in yall heads.

But for the team, its probably the Rockets.

They went 1000 days without a winning record. Fred just fits that team really well. He’s got two centres that he can pick n roll with, and is actually helping all the young guys. Their 4 core is really working well with Ime Udoka.

Dennis is great for the raptors, but he hasn’t change the entire system that Fred+Brooks+Senguin+Green has.

  14. Raptorsthrowaway1

Whatever way you want to argue about who is better. The production that Dennis is giving us on that contract significantly wins out

Pity we couldn’t tie him to that deal for three years

  15. AlexRescueDotCom

Dennis is 1/4 price of FVV, plus, and this is a big one for me, is that Dennis has some really flashy passes which make it entertaining to watch. FVV had no flashy passes.

  16. certainkindoffool

I haven’t watched enough to know. If Fred has his legs and can provide point of attack defense, he’s still a better player.

I have zero interest in bringing him back.

  17. FVV is for sure a better player but Dennis has been great. that being said Fred should not be used primarily as an iso scorer like nurse was last year. Part of the reason he’s looking so nice in Houston is because his role is different along with the expectations of him

  18. The one who:
    – is putting up better scoring on higher efficiency with the same level of playmaking.
    – brings good vibes
    – doesn’t make 40 million a year
    – doesn’t get blown by

  19. bigpapahugetim3

Not cringing when Dennis drives to the rim for a layup so I would say Dennis is better.

  20. joshy2saucy

Dennis is doing a good job of filling the guard spot the way we need it done. We don’t need an all-star level PG, we need someone to facilitate and buy in, and he’s doing it perfectly.

  21. Mutley1357

It’s nice to see a guard have the ability to create their on offense on the dribble without needing a screen or pick. He’s got really good speed and first step to get around the POA defender. His ability to get a paint touch without help, be just enough of a midrange threat to have the defense collapse, to start our swing outside is noticeable this year. It nice to see other teams scramble on defense for once when we pass it around the horn

  22. Eclectic_Canadian

There’s no way Dennis is 175 lbs

  23. Kevita24

We don’t need to be hating on Fred…he had an amazing career in Toronto, he had 1/2 a bad season last year and people just ignored everything else he accomplished…let me remind you that without Fred, we didn’t win that series against the Warriors in the finals, he was the MVP of that series

They’re different players with different skills…Schroder is more of a pure PG, while Fred is a PG/SG tweener, both very good players but Schroder fits this system much better

  24. Faptors

Is Dennis second year a player option? Or team option? Id be down to keep him for another year if possible but he will prob leave for more money if he can

I love how everyone who’s posting the obviously right answer is being downvoted.
