Gobert is prolly the reason why the Nuggets struggle in their first round during the playoffs. Similar with Dwight during the bubble. Small ball is good and revolutionary but the presence of defensive-oriented big men is still necessary in a way.
This is what Gobert never had in Utah… elite perimeter defenders that can hold their own while he can roam where needed.
A lot of ifs… if they can stay healthy is the biggest obstacle.
