One of the reasons why we picked him was we were thin on wings and needed a playable guy. JJJ may even be near to the end of his development phase. He is an old mature rookie.

he was a four year so this was to be expected

Reminder to Heat fans Duncan Robinson was 22 when the Heat put him in their system. Over a two year span he went from absolutely unplayable to one of the leagues most feared and respected shooters…but yes I’m supposed to believe jaquez is cooked at 22 yrs old and can’t improve anymore because he went to college for 4 years and that means he has no ceiling or real potential. So many dumbass posts itt.

  4. Front offices and fans get way too hung up on the age thing. If you’re lucky a late round pick will give you 3+ years of quality play as a rotation player. If you see the traits you’re looking for it shouldn’t matter if the kid is 19 or 23.

Why wouldn’t he tho? When your drafted by the best scouts and team. Ofcourse you gonna outplay most ahead of u, same as Herro did. And Herro was a better level offensively than most above him.

I know he’s been playing better than a lot expected but comparing him to Scoot is unreasonable. Jaime’s being asked to be a solid role player in a team that just made the finals. Scoot’s being asked to be the point of attack in a team that has no clear identity at the moment and is in full rebuild mode.
