Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong at the end of this game. Paolo really just made losing play after losing play. Oh well. If there is one thing I know as an Orlando Magic fan, its that if its a one possession game going into the last two minutes of the fourth, we will always lose.

I want to give a big fuck you to the Magic organization for agreeing to give up a home game against a division rival. All we did was market a rival to a new market. Not saying we would have won if it were in Amway, but it just pisses me off that our fans were robbed of a game so some people in Mexico City can cheer on the Hawks.

I’m gonna plug my ears and say that this loss was on missing WCJ and Gary
Mosley not only didn’t draw up a play, but with 30 seconds left down one, you need to get a quick shot, so that if you missed you still have 10-15 seconds left to foul and come down again. Instead the magic ran no play, and widdiled the clock down to the last second. they had 30 seconds down 1 with the ball and legit couldn’t even foul. That’s horrific coaching.
Cryin at Magic fans blaming FULTZ for the loss like Paolo didn’t brick everything. Markelle didn’t even shoot it, just handed it to him and ran away.
Fultz is really gonna be the scapegoat for this team huh. Hope he gets moved then cause he doesn’t deserve it

Firstly we shouldn’t have even been in this game due to turnovers and terrible FT shooting. But we were – then in crunch time we have a Paolo 3 followed by a JI 3 and last shot of the game is another Paolo 3.
I am tired of hearing that Markelle makes the offense run ‘better’.

Worse news is we’re going to have a highly motivated Bucks team coming in on Saturday, who we haven’t beaten in a regular season game since the 2018-2019 season.
Someone on the squad is going to have to step up and start taking over games… feels like we’re the only team in the league where nobody ever pops off for crazy nights ever… fucking Saddiq bey on the pistons had 50 last year. The box score won’t show it but Paolo was awful tonight
PB in the last two minutes fouled 90 feet away from his basket. Then passed up a foul line jumper, then charged, then fouled trae. Horrific.
Suggs was 7/10 and 4/5 from three playing balls out on both sides of the floor. Left wide open from three on at least 3 of the last 4 Magic possessions, and what do Paolo/Franz do? Don’t even look for him.
Terrible decision making at the end. If your hot hand is open at the end of the game you find him, point blank.

The plays at the end resulted in 3 open shots and 3 clanks by Franz, Isaac and Paolo. They created decent looks, that definitely shouldn’t be what people are complaining about.
Too many breakdowns defensively which resulted in a wide open Dejounte three which he knocks down.
We don’t have any go to scorers at the level of other teams yet. Paolo and Franz are the future but still young and learning.
Also words cannot express how much I absolutely despise Trae Young.

There is still no one who you can throw the ball to down the stretch and reliably say “go and get me a bucket or get to the line.” I think Paolo and Franz might get there, but the lack of outside shooting is still troubling.
Fultz’ spacing was horrid on that last play on rewatch though. It’s like he’s trying to set a pick on Jalen when Franz is already driving so now two people shut off Franz and his pass to Paolo gets tipped. Paolo was still open but it was more contested than it should’ve been.
Good to say Jalen’s got the rag on in the postgame.

It’s very simple as to why paolo plays better without Fultz. Paolo is not a complete player yet which he shouldn’t be he’s only a few games into his second year. He’s a power forward and at the end of the day he’s most comfortable scoring like a power forward yes he’s a great ball handler and passer and has potential on the outside shot but his spots are driving to the hoop and in the post. When Fultz is out there he’s going to be automatically doubled in the post and the drive is going to be taken away. There’s no respect for Fultz jumper. You surround paolo with shooting and then work on his own shooting improving through out the year and he will develop most efficiently as well as the magic win ball games.
Jett has to be 11th man on the depth chart at least after Caleb and Chuma lost us the last two games
Man Caleb Houston and Jett need some burn, would really help in the immediate.
But the real issue is as a team we cannot shoot. Nobody respects our shot and at the end of games when we NEED A bucket, nobody seems ready to go get it at the moment.
A lot of season left and a lot of learning but management needs to be taking notice
Self-inflicted L. The 10 missed FT’s, the turnovers, the awful play calling down the stretch while we were clearly panicking. These are turning into trends.
We need need need a vet PG who can shoot and handle the ball in clutch time to take the pressure off Paolo and Franz, who have been pressing all season.
The “here we go again” mentality is so detrimental to young, developing players.
