An inexcusable missed call, and Boston Celtics still trying to learn each other



The NBA Last Two Minute Report shows the Celtics should have gotten the ball back with 4.8 seconds against Philadelphia. That missed call by the official needs to be addressed, says John Karalis of Boston Sports Journal and Tom Westerholm.     Yes, early adversity is always a good learning experience, the team will form better chemistry and synergy as the season goes on. Hopefully Joe also figures out better starter/bench groupings, there have been some odd combinations thrown out there.

    It was a BAD missed call. The C’s shouldn’t have let it get to that point, again. But I do I hate that basketball refs can be such a massive factor in who wins or loses just based on if they like a guy or don’t, give all the fouls to one team bc they wanna help the stars, the guys who shouldn’t need help). I feel like NBA officials regularly have too much impact on games. That said, John is right, it’s no WHY they lost. They lost bc they’re having the exact same issues they had last year, the bench is bad and JB is causing stagnation in the offense bc he’s becoming a black hole. He only shoots or drives or turns it over. Statistically a 1:1 ratio.

    PP needs to go bro.. sorry to say I know he’s a fan favorite but he’s garbage!! 0 pts in 3 games with 15+ mins a game! Don’t ask for mins if your going to do this! He fails to make open shots, misses lay ups, doesn’t use his floater to score, defense is garbage, fouls at the worst times, and I can keep on going. There’s nothing in his game that makes me feel comfortable. As soon as he comes in they just attack him and he can’t do anything. On offense he gets trapped in the corners and on defense he’s just way too small! Put on some muscle if your going to be short!

    I swear these female refs are terrible!! She made the tech call when Porzingis swung on the rim to land safely! Like wth is he supposed to do fall on his back?! She doesn’t understand because she never dunked a ball!

    We play them next week in Philly again… we better not lose! I don’t want to hear Sixers fans bragging until we knock them out the playoffs lol. They’re not better, just playing with a lot of energy and most the teams they played are garbage. They also have a lot of home games early in the season. Wait until the second half of the season they’ll be 4th place in the East.

    I believe a quick fix for the bench till the trade deadline could be bringing either holiday or white to the bench and bring Hauser up as he doesn't need the ball to score he can just catch and shoot and play defense. Also the bench would be better holiday or white with Horford brissett with Tatum and another starter. Just my opinion.
