Pascal Siakam dropped 31 points as the Toronto Raptors beat up on the Dallas Mavericks. What does this game mean for the Mavericks defense. Are the Raptors better than I thought?

  1. Toronto is a team that’s very well built to defend the Mavericks – they have tons of versatile, switchable athletic wings that they use to attack Dallas offense scheme.
I was really looking forward to this game as a challenge for the Mavs and a calibration game against a higher quality opponent.
Unfortunately they just failed the challenge and not only did they fail the challenge, Toronto played harder than them and wanted the game more.
Definitely a bummer but hopefully they learn from this and come with a better effort in the next game.

  2. Trade THJ, Powell, Maxi, and Green for a pack of chips, half eaten apple, and cookie crumbs and the team would be a lot better.

  3. Nice video. I really don’t know what’s going on with Josh either. I’m one of the biggest believers in him but even I’ll admit that he’s been underperforming this year so far. He’s still only 22 years old so he still has plenty of time to improve but I’d except him to take a bigger leap from the start of this season.

Hopefully the Mavs make a move before the deadline to bring in some more size. In the meantime, why do you think Kidd likes playing Maxi at the 5 instead of the 4? Wouldn’t it make more sense to put Maxi and Dwight in at the same time off the bench for additional size?

  4. Mavs have the worst defense in the league. Every team looks like the Harlem Globetrotters. Finney Smith was the best player on the team.

  5. be 6'8"+ tall with long arms, that's all you need to do to destroy the mavs when lively is out

Crazy to think mavs are a PJ Washington and isaiah Hartenstein from contending

  6. Powell, Kleber and Green just cant be in rotation of a serious NBA team and as long as they are, I cant take Mavs seriously at all.
Thse guys would struggle in CBA and are getting 20-35min on a NBA team with championship aspirations? Get out of here.
