For context Mares also hosts two Denver Nuggets centered podcasts so take that for what you will when it comes to his takes/comments about the game, but Legler is great in this convo and I appreciated the way he pushed back on some of the things Mares brought up as doubts or reasons to maybe not view last night’s game for the positive that it was for the Warriors.

I haven’t listened yet, but Legler understands Steph and the Warriors better than probably anyone in the media. He always gets it right.
This is still a ring season for us.
PS I kinda agree on their takes on JK.
They make a fair critique of JK, but they are also missing some of the subtleties. JK has shot poorly overall, correct, but he has also had big buckets for us down the stretch of big games. That’s not reflected in the percentage. His rebound stats are also not great, but some of his individual rebounds have been super impressive- a nuance that stats don’t appreciate. So there actually is a lot of growth, but unless you’re watching closely you might not see it.
