I think when Kyrie came Luka felt nervous because he is the leader of the team and now a veteran who can also lead is in the lineup.. but Kyrie has been open about giving space for leadership.. he can be the guiding veteran without being the main leader of the team.. and I think Luka is finally adjusting properly to that.. Mavs fan here. They are far from contenders! The defense is terrible so far and they havenĀ“t beaten a team thatĀ“s above .500 at this point. They will have a tough time landing a top 6 spot if they keep playing like that.
