I honestly think a winning team balks at a Zach trade unless they get a key backcourt injury. His lack of defense and poor decision making are such red flags. At first it was understandable, but after a couple years of competitive teams (not tanking), he’s not better – and not looked interested in improving the weaker points of his game.

I don’t think this team will ever be anything until every player who was coached by Boylen at all is gone

Save themselves the trip. Get Caruso

I’ve said it before. Zach LaVine (on the court) is a lot closer to JR Smith than he is to Kobe or even Vince Carter.

Can a team win with him? Sure. JR won with LeBron.

But I sometimes feel like we’re old Nuggets fans defending LaVine

I’m a Portland fan but was half-contemplating a post on this subreddit about parting out the Bulls, which is what they should do for the best-positioned rebuild.

Personally, I think DeRozan has about as much trade value as LaVine. He can practically play point guard and operates primarily in the mid-range, fitting well on any team with dominant post and perimeter players. I also don’t see DeRozan being stuck to having some massive contract if he can be on a contender. I could see him on Philly, for instance.
