Well that sucked!

Deni ended with a +/- of +9, and the rest of the starting lineup had between -29 (Jones) to -16). Wright had a +/- of +22, and Bial with a +/- of +15).
gafford kinda got exposed tonight
Do Kuzma and Poole usually only play 28 minutes a game ? Lebron is almost 40 and playing 36 minutes a game.
pretty embarrassing to lose that game. really hard to blame gafford for the rebounding when his number one priority is protecting the rim. our perimeter defenders let guys behind them, gafford has to choose between staying glued to his man or protecting the rim
Fun game but frustrating down the stretch. They did Gafford a huge disservice by wasting a pretty excellent game from him. No one else really tried to rebound. Really think they should have put Kispert in for the final 3-4 minutes to get some better spacing. Delon’s absence from injury was also very apparent.
Officially 0-fer in ugly gas station puddle colored city unis. Why win games when you can tank hard and draft another Johnny Davis.
Getting outrebounded by 30+ is truly an impressive feat that is near impossible to achieve. Kudos to the boys.
Entertaining game. I don’t really mind losing one like that during a tank.
But I still don’t understand why anyone would pick Johnny Davis over Mark Williams. And he wasn’t even the best player available at that point.
The Hornets picked after us, they’ve at least got a piece with some value even if he isnt as good as he looked tonight. Meanwhile JD gets a DNP.
Fun game aside from, yet again, terrible interior defense when Gafford is out. Poole also garbage. Everyone else was entertaining tho!
Wizards really found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the 4th quarter. Still a fun game to watch though.
Tough loss after it felt like we controlled the pace for the first 40 minutes. I would have rather seen Bilal and Kispert back in there to finish the game. Jones and Poole get exposed on every switch and can’t rebound.
Also, fwiw, I thought the refs missed about 5 fouls on drives to the hoop.

Jones had a good game offensively, and still by far the worst plus minus. This is feeling like Morris all over again. These guys flourished in their systems, but get exposed defensively once they’re out of that system.
