Nice game for Wemby and vassell. But when can we finally admit the Sochan experiment isn't working?
100% agree with pop. This game felt completely different from the 1st second. So glad I was there. Playing at home has been a big advantage for the spurs thus far. SA is bring the love and energy for home games.
Yes he is right, we already felt more discipline, more structure but we are still light years away in terms of structure and hierarchy that there must be in a basketball game to perform.
The only two who I truly believe will lead us to the spurs future is Wemby and Vassell

True PG
Good SF Defender
A good rebounder either at PF/Center
Keldon is never consistent and tries to bully the rim, he aint him I would trade him
Sochan is good on D but his PG is just horrible, keep him at SF or PF back up as the 6th man
Tre is a ok PG but I feel his height is what pop doesn't like because so many can shoot over him and his 3's are not that good
Collins is an ok PF/C but the man can never rebound to save his life.
If I were them I would call up Blazers for two players that can help them right now, Matisse Thybulle SF that can help with the D
and Malcom Brogdon a vet PG that can help with the office until they draft someone like Isaiah Collier or Stephon Castle or if they want another big go with Aday Mara
have to trade some guys. need D and passing. one pure shooter. keldon should be traded, doesnt fit team future. not sure about others. no good 24' free agents, we need to make a big trade for someone to be wemby side kick. sochan is a keeper imo
What a difference having your second best player back makes. Spurs fans acting like the world was falling apart when Vassell was out
The line up at the end is what we expected at the preseason. It worked. A little late, but it worked.
