  1. Mitch is the 2nd best 5 in the East. The knicks don't need a center. We need a starting small forward. "Move RJ back to the shooting guard". We need a backup point and power forward. John Wall, and Marcus Morris can fill those needs. IQ and IHart can be traded for our starting small forward.

  2. I like a small move in th middle of the season would love to trade Fournier and a 2nd for Jonathan Isaac in Orlando..save the big move for the offseason

  3. knicks fans are delusional. Wanting to trade our trash and get a star is daydreaming. We have two players we will not resign. IQ is asking for 25 million. Cole Anthony took a 3 year 39 million contract. They should be making about the same amount of money. I like Cole more than IQ to run my point. IHart is a free agent next summer. He will be asking for Mitch money. We are not going to pay him that. We should trade now ore lose him for nothing.

  4. Knicks donā€™t even need to make any major trades from their young core , just trade Evan Fournier honestly

  5. no trades. keep your talent and higher draft picks. build your own stars. forget the media and fans. they love trades and firings but that hasn't worked before. this hunger for a superstar doesn't guarantee you a title either. plus you lose your core and get worse. the only trade would be randle but you have to replace his rebounding and scoring. not as easy as fans think. the knicks are just below the top teams. one talented draft pick might put them over.

  6. I'm for a trade only if the starting lineup stays in place Grimes needs to step up IQ wants to start but if you give him a good contract he'll stay because with this team who's playing the best usually finishes the game but who are they going to trade for though?

  7. The way the Knicks have played the last two games are the team if they continue to play this way can go a long way in the playoffs just step back and look at the heat playoff series it that team meaning the Knicks shows up and play ball the way Jalen Brunson did i think they could've made it to the finals stop over thinking this the Knicks have a deep team right now.

  8. Of course you do a trade if the right superstar is available. We have acquired picks for the last 3 years specifically for THIS. For a trade. I like our young players but there are no superstars there. There is no one there who can make us contenders. We don't have Wemby or SGA and Chet or Cade/Thompson/Duren.. it's not THAT kind of young core. We are a deep team, so if we trade RJ, Randle and IQ and 7 picks for a superstar, we STILL have JB, and Mitch and IQ and Hartenstein, and Grimes and Hart.. you still have a real team. So, I am puzzled by guys who say no trades. What do you want? to make 1st round and 2nd round playoff exits for the next 5 years?

  9. Absolutely not. There is no one realistic worth trading for. This team is trending up and it is because of patience and good development of our young guys. Need to continue to build through the draft and dabble in free agency when necessary. I would be all for minor moves if possible (moving Fournier which is unlikely). IQ too but only if there is no way to retain him which I hope we are able to do. We should be thankful we have a regime who understands what they are doing and not influenced by media and fan conjecture.
