  1. The more I think about the Kings without Fox, the more I feel this is a great opportunity to see who really fits in their scheme and plan. There is NO doubt that when Fox returns, hopefully 100% healthy, he will be an instant spark plug for a team that desperately needs it, but this gives opportunities for Mike to evaluate and open the doors to others who want to seize the moment, CARPE DIEM! If Mike can identify a player or players who he did not think would originally be a part of the rotation and now sees they can make a difference……that's going to pay huge dividends in the long run for the Kings.

The league has more parity and there are NO easy games, thus having a deeper bench with reliable players in your system is going to really help them, especially if Mike can trust him and if said player can get some valuable experience while Fox is out. I think we're looking at this in the wrong way.

As for the in-season-tournament, it's a gimmick and we all know this, but it does add a little spice to the games. I'm open to it for this season and then let's evaluate it later on.

Above all, there is NO reason to rush Fox early in the season. The Kings want a healthy Fox, not one that will be prone to injury. It's still early.

Let's see who steps up and accepts the challenge! This is where a player rises to the moment and puts the league on notice, and tonight's game against the Thunder is NOT going to be easy at all, but a great opportunity for a player out of the rotation to rise. We'll see.

Also, Keegan seems to be shooting to the right consistently, and it looks like his hand/wrist injury has affected his shot, but he just needs to adjust and aim more to the left perhaps, or get some easy shots up close to get him going. It seems it's all in his head. Too much thinking! Just do! Needs to harness his inner Zen and trust everything he has worked so hard to do. We believe in you Keegan! Let's GO!

  2. The league is younger and more talented. There is more parity in the league, so the Kings are NOT going to have any easy games. However, as I said before, this is a great opportunity for other players out of the rotation to shine while Fox is out. This is a net positive IMO. It's going to toughen them up for the long run.
