After further review, we found out Draymond Green fouled Mitchel in 2019, so we’re kicking him out of the game

  2. RdeRuiter

Refs in their bag with this one. Didn’t know you could get a retroactive tech off another dude’s foul.

  3. Lazy_Veterinarian192

I hate Draymond’s constant antics, but I thought you can only review the play being challenged

He deserves it on karma alone, but still…

  4. Sacreville

Wow, NOW they can review a previous play? Lol.

  5. MinnyPuppies

That’s a shit call. I mean dray deserved the T but not that late call. Like wtf.

  6. taititans

What the fuck, feel like this sets a really bad precedent?

  7. FuffySweata

The refs are betting on these games. Someone please investigate

  8. relax336

Daaaaaaaaamn. That’s some wild shit. They missed that ish in the moment…take the L refs.

  9. PootieTooGood

Draymond is lucky he wasn’t ejected a minute earlier for screaming JA’s face

  10. o0DrWurm0o

So basically the refs are saying “go ahead and retaliate if you think you’ve been wronged”

    no way could this backfire

  11. busybee919

Draymond was stupid af for his antics but you can’t call something like that retroactively wtf

  12. mrwhite2323

Deserved but Mitchell should’ve gotten a tech ir flagrant

  13. drewv600

Honestly I thought that would have been a tech for both Draymond and Mitchell

  14. Sartheking

I get that he absolutely should’ve been ejected by then, but this sets a really dangerous precedent if we can retroactively assign techs to previous plays during the game. Ends don’t always justify the means.

  15. Tedthesecretninja

Probly shoulda been a double tech honestly

  16. Cockrocker

I don’t understand how this was a technical and not a flagrant. I mean I don’t think it should have been anything other than a foul, he was clearly trying to box him out. Could someone explain how this is a technical and not a fragrant?

This might be worse than Giannis’s ejection the other day.

  17. HyperPlasma

Draymond is a bitch but the refs are on some bullshit right there

  18. ArbitNM

Okay but how are you going to call draymond for the tech, but let mitchell off with a common foul… like its textbook retaliation by their own admission considering they gave draymond a tech for it lmao

  19. ArtfulLying

So Mitchell shoves Draymond unnecessarily and then gets a free review out of it and no tech AND GETS HIM EJECTED??????????

  20. beverlyhillscop

Please review the Niang flop from earlier.

  21. ijneBENJI

I get it bc it’s dray, but wtf? Starting a dangerous precedent here…

  22. Ryusei24

This is so weird to me…you can trade a common foul to force a review to greater penalize the player you purposely fouled?

  23. Pulsing_Fantasticals

    Refs not suck challenge: Impossible

    Lmao

  24. NotTopherr

Refs time traveling to call fouls now

  25. xerxes_i

I’m fine with the tech on Dray but there should have been a flagrant/tech the other way too.

  26. Mountain_Pathfinder

While I can see that Draymond deserved it, Mitchell’s foul should’ve been a flagrant 1 imo. There’s nothing necessary about that contact, he just fouled Draymond because he’s pissed.

  27. AssortedSub

Ignoring the “reviewing the play before the play you’re reviewing” part: can someone explain how Draymond’s push in live action play is a T? And not a common foul, or if bad enough a flagrant?

  28. Party-Ad-7077

This is gonna be considered okay by reddit but when it hits giannis Lebron or Jokic it’s 9/11

  29. bryan792

I’ve never seen that. If it was intentional by Donovan, then that’s so BigBrain

    Also, Draymond pls…

  30. ricepail

This could lead to enforcers coming to basketball like in hockey.

  31. StefonDiggsHS

dude i hate Dray too but like Mitchell also not getting a tech is wild considering retaliation hass been a T 99% of the time

  32. Jicama-Smart

that makes no sense – double t for retaliation

  33. Fr0_oz3n

These refs have been absolutely terrible. Ben Taylor and JT Orr, yo.

  34. newperson77777777

need the full clip with draymond’s shove to judge accurately. I get why it seemed like they didnt call a tech on mitchell tho – the shove was during live play so it would either be a foul or a flagrant and it clearly wasn’t severe enough to be a flagrant. Tho, he seemed kind of demonstrative during the conversations but maybe that didn’t warrant a tech. Not sure what the precedent is for reviewing previous plays for techs but i guess that’s not necessarily a bad thing as long as they aren’t just doing it for this game and doing it universally (have rarely seen something like this…)

  35. skratsda

I initially read this thinking it was Jordan Poole, and it was way more hilarious

  36. FightMiilkHendrix

I’d love all the people who claim the league favours draymond to explain this lmao 😜

  37. Used-Caregiver2364

Its definitely a bad call, but there’s nothing better than watching Draymond’s sorry ass get shown up. Good for Mitchell. Draymond continues to let his emotions get the best of him time and time again. Imagine giving that dude 100 mil with how old he is 🤣🤣🤣

  38. CMPoltu

Mitchell is so clever on this. He fouled him as fast as he could, explained why and got Draymond ejected. That’s sweet justice. I don’t get why people get offended by this. It’s beautiful karma.
