In the 2nd Q, down 24-42, we go on a 17-0 run and even tie things up at 47-47. In the 3rd Q, we go down again 59-69 and battle back to take a 82-80 lead. Then in the 4th Q, Spurs take a double digit lead AGAIN 103-93 and I’m like “aight it’s finally over”. The sheer resilience to keep fighting like that *ON A BACK-TO-BACK ON THE ROAD* is bloody insane.

I can’t believe we won. As for the Spurs, I got a few takes. Zach Collins was mad annoying tonight. Super good for them. As for Wemby, I feel like any time he takes a 3pt shot it’s a win for the D. He is terrifying to have inside the paint since that alley-oop in the 4th Q is legit unguardable. Shot poorly tonight. Cool to see him before he “figures it all out” and runs the league I guess.

Just a few things that I liked from tonight’s game – Jimmy showed up in the 2nd q (hope we got this every night but him doing it in the playoffs is better) – Duncan slashing (and freezing Wemby) and his whole performance for tonight (he really is in his bag tonight š) – Bam taking all those free jumpers early in the 4th – Love’s 3rd q and high iq plays everytime he’s on the floor – JJJ not looking like a rookie out there (clutch steal late in the fourth) – Locksmith defense – Productive Dru minutes – And Rook2 icing the game in the last 2 mins of the game
I just hope we get our three pt percentage up, especially Highsmith lol he really was automatic first few games of the szn.
And does anybody know why Spo doesn’t give TB enough playing time now the past few games? And why tf every Spurs player shooting like prime Curry tonight?
