Nobody can convince me OG is worth $35M+. He's a 3&D roll player not a superstar.
i dont think any current raptor (outside of siakam) would choose to play for nurse again. og selecting philli is very unlikely and i would bet that he re-signs with toronto. don't see him being traded. siakam is far less predictable and more likely to be traded, but at the same time, i don't think masai will mind if siakam walks for nothing in exchange for opening up the salary cap significantly.
Dillon Brooks is a way better player with the same defensive accolades for 20m, if og cant accept the same deal or less then ship him out. Dude wouldn't even be a 6th man on Boston but since he played for the Craptors not contributing to winning at all, a max is available? Good way to ensure your team goes no where yet again.

There is nothing new here. Masai has already explored the trade market and turned down three first round picks for OG. He wouldnāt deal him for Dame either. He obviously knows heās going to offer OG whatever it takes. If he thought OG was completely unhappy or Toronto couldnāt afford him he would have dealt him already. OGās game has transformed without Fred here. In fact, I wouldnāt be surprised to learn the Raps were only in on Fred so they could bid the Rockets up – which they did. They also didnāt sign Pascal because the knew OG would be the priority. And no way OG was going to sign prior to free agency for all the points you make about him making more money when he hits free agency.
Stop talking/ Just enjoy the Season and the Now. We are not going to contend until we get Two star players. Scotty is close so we gonna have have to wait and see
Masai has done a great job of depleting a future pipeline of talent the past 4yrs. Picking Barnes has been the only bright spot
Iām going to be honest, OG is one of the best role players in the league, probably a top 5 guy, but we canāt be paying role players $30 million+ per season. I think trading him is the best thing to do. Ideally, we shouldāve traded him for Shaedon Sharpe when the option was there last season but itās too late for that now sadly. We need to commit to a proper rebuild around Scottie. Siakam is too old for our timeline, OG is going to be too expensive. We shouldāve traded them before when their value was higher. We need young talent, possibly a co-star for Scottie, and draft capital.
@jakob gramegna you saw the raptors players go give adrian griffin a hug after playing his bucks, but no raptor went and gave nurse a hug or acknowledged him after the game. it tells you the raptors players dont like nurse. especially og anunoby who nurse quotes asking for bigger role on offence and nurse never giving it to him. so og anunoby will not resign with nurse and the 76ers even if they trade for him.
They need to move siakam so they can give OG more of an offensive role
100% doubt we let him walk or trade him under any circumstances tbh we didnt trade og for dame that means alot im pretty sure masai is prepared to match any offer og receives even adding a lil more ontop of that honeslty masai seems to really love og
While the Raprors are eyeing SGA and Jamal Murray. They should be able to get them by offering Flynn, McDaniels, Precious ,Trent Jr and Thaddeus Young. My rumours are much better than the rumours coming out of NYC and Philly
Sixers are better off trading for Siakam, he's only 3 years older than OG and fills a more immediate need at PF and wouldn't cost as much for a rest of season rental. Siakam and Embiid would be the best frontcourt in the NBA and Nurse would make that certain.
