Honestly, I don’t know what the Clippers’ management was thinking when they traded for Harden. Westbrook and Harden playing together in the starting lineup didn’t work in OKC or Houston. One player is always rushing, while the other constantly wants to slow down the game to score points from isolation. Both are ball-dominant, considered weak defenders, and undersized guard pairings haven’t achieved significant success elsewhere either. It would be better to have a defensive-minded point guard like Dejounte Murray or Jrue Holiday alongside George and Leonard.

He has lost basically 60-70% of his athletic ability after the hamstring injury vs the bucks years ago and it gets even worse every year getting older…And i am a huge fan of him…he will have some good offensive games when his shot is falling and his passing is still good but that’s about it…playing him off ball won’t work in a million years.. He needs the ball in his hand to be effective…sicne the trade can’t be undone they should focus how to make him more effective…give him the ball get him a 5 that is a lob threat and let him do his thing(maybe with the bench)…if he has a good game keep him in if not reduce his minutes…that’s the only way and the only chance it would work.
