should have traded Middleton instead of Jrue
I called it this bucks team isnt made to optimize the dame and Giannis pairing. Jason said it they won’t be a top 5 defense and I believe a non top 5 defense can’t be a true championship contender. They need to trade brook and Middleton and hope to get a player like OG from the raptors or Dorian finney smith from the nets.
middleton gets to normal, and a better 2 gaurd than beasely will make bucks unstoppable

They put brook in a drop and he had 8 blocks… you also should not logically judge them compared to other teams with such a small sample size, 5 games? 3 of those games against playoff teams and they won all of those games, both losses came from teams who came off of back to back losses, they were hungry for a win and played great and bucks offense wasn’t there. It’s not just “oh they just terrible”. If 3 of those games were against 3 of the lower tier teams in the league then they’d probably look great. Give it 10-20 games before you start actually ranking teams.

A little bit of offense and less defense.
They put Brooke back in Drop, and has made them a COMPLETELY different D! 8 blocks vs. the Knicks, and Great defensive efficiency. Giannis & Dame still figuring it out, but getting better. Griff listening to the players on moving Brooke back into Drop changes their WHOLE Defensive identity.
Bucks didn’t deserve to win that game but they did . They’re still not a convincing championship team .

Jason, maybe adding some visual cue in production would help for the videos. Like a small window popping up showing a 10-15 sequence that you’re referring to//analyzing at that moment.

Someone got to be honest about Giannis. So limited. He’s regressing somewhat. Media just has a love affair with this team. They aren’t good enough. Giannis makes such bad decisions. He doesn’t realize his limitations and just doesn’t play smart. He should never shoot a 3.

mailbag question: jason, since youre a republican, does it negatively affect u seeing players take stances on social issues? and does that affect ur enjoyment of the games?
I tried to tell people their defense was going to take a big step back. Giannis and Lopez are grear defenders, but the front court can only do so much when the point of attack is an absolute sieve.
These comments are hilarious. Every Boston fan has a massive hard on bc Milwaukee played like trash on Wednesday night in October against Toronto. Milwaukee started last year 7-0, how'd that work out for them? These games mean absolutely nothing. It's all about health and being able to execute in a playoff series.
Interesting how two of the best big man defenders in the league struggle to defend when point of attack defense is weak.
I still remember how Joker was portrayed as poor defender previously for having to defend 1v2 all the damn time due to his guards getting stuck on every screen.
