The Philadelphia 76ers Are On FIRE

Who would’ve thought that after 9 games in the NBA Season the Philadelphia 76ers would be at the top of the Eastern Conference. Embiid once again is having another MVP caliber season, Maxing is playing like an All-NBA member and the supporting cast of Tobias Harris, Kelly Obure, De’Anthony Melton, Patrick Beverly and Paul Reed have all been solid. Today we take a look back at how the Philadelphia 76ers went for a team with a disgruntled star in James Harden to the longest active win streak in the NBA.

  1. That Dame-Giannis pick and roll just makes way, way too much sense, and the Celtics have so much depth, and Embiid always gets hurt.

I think it's still a long shot to make the conference finals. I'd say odds are that they don't.

  2. They probably aren't winning the East but if they somehow stay the 1 seed then they can make the conf finals. As long as Boston and Milwaukee are #2 and #3

  3. If Maxey is a all star and Embiid repeats as MVP then I will stand up and clap

  4. Too many people are sleeping on the Sixers, guys. They already beat Boston once and for the first time in recent memory, have some big mismatches that favor them. Their interior D is suspect and Maxey is just too quick for White/Holiday, plus they finally have some wing depth to guard Tatum and Brown. Oh and Nick Nurse will coach circles around that clown Mazzula. Milwaukee has two players that can go nuclear but their defense went from elite to garbage with the Dame trade and Embiid can give Giannis issues with his size. Too many people are overhyping the Bucks who are an older team with an unproven HC. Losing Oubre sucks but I think RoCo and Batum can fill in nicely for him as he recovers. Stop seeping on the Sixers, they're for real!

  5. The 76ers are not winning the East. This happens every year, they look great in the regular season, but they always underperform in the playoffs. Even if they somehow get to the ECF, no one who knows basketball is going to think they have a chance against Milwaukee. But with this unfortunate news about Kelly Oubre, the 76ers might be more cursed than the Clippers.

  6. As a sixers fan, I'm not sure if the team can finally make a conference finals and beyond (maybe if Celtics choke like they did against Miami), but we're definitely showing that we're still a threat even without Harden
