The best part of the win is that Luka conserved a lot of energy playing less minutes. At the end of the season this will really count. I think he is saving a lot of energy letting Exum, Hardaway initiate the offence.

Kirk, first of all, congrats on the new baby! Everything we're watching with Kyrie and Luka is CALCULATED. This is why many of us think Kyrie is a top 25 offensive talent ALL-TIME. Any all-world talent that you pair him with is going to be the best offense you've ever seen. Kyrie to Harden: "You be the point guard, I'll be the shooting guard" This is the reverse. Kyrie is becoming the point guard….to include taking the burden of getting up those long 3s off of Luka. He's already taken the burden of using Dwight Powell manufacture rim pressure to offset their natural disadvantage in paint points. You remember that sequence in Orlando when Luka and Kyrie assisted each other on 3s on consecutive processions? That's the process in plain sight. More 3 level scoring from Luka. More Luka baskets assisted by Kyrie. Maybe even Luka imitating Jokic with passes to backdoor cutters from the foul line. I want Luka closer to the basket.

I wish we picked up Boomers starting centre Duop Reath this offseason. He had a good debut with the blazers. He got 14-3-3 in 11mims backing up for Ayton
You guys talked all summer about how hard it is to play center in the NBA, and here we are 10 games in with Lively and this dude is starting and helping the team win. It's crazy how fast he is learning.
I know everyone says it, but Iām so thankful for the Mavs broadcast team after listening to the awful guys from the pelicans and other teams.
If we could get a big wing defender AND a backup center for when Lively is out or having rookie woes weād be unstoppable. Probably canāt get both though. Iām undecided on which one we need more.
