Wassup man it’s always cool to hear your point of view on things. Yeah I for sure agree that damnear everyone is up for grabs other than Tyrese. At the moment Bennedict Mathurin, Obi Toppin hasn’t looked as good as maybe expected but yes it’s still early on so we’re gonna have to see if they improve or not. But will say though in the few games played, Mathurin isn’t necessarily the same from my point of view there are times he’s trying to make that extra pass but also there’s times he thinks too hard. They’re gonna have to step up to solidify themselves as a part of the core going forward with Tyrese. Same goes for Turner because u said something that reassured me when watch him and Jalen Smith play. Even though Smith isn’t perfect he has done the basic things that Turner needs to step up with on a consistent basis…in which has been talked about since he’s been drafted in 2015. That’s Off/Def rebounding and not being pushed around in the post…this year in my opinion should be his last straw on his performance going forward to determine whether he has to go or stay. As for Jarace Walker I would say give him time because he barely has gotten playing time with the main guys Tyrese, Turner, Mathurin, etc. Most of the time he’s thrown in with a weird unit. But yea other than Walker another player I had on the radar was for sure Taylor Hendricks.

I usually agree with alot of what you say, I am totally against you on the Buddy Hield trades. If this team is wanting to win this year, Buddy is arguably there 2nd or 3rd leading scorer and trading him kinda tanks the season. I agree with you on the Myles Turner talks, just trading Buddy nets the team nothing.. maybe a 2nd rounder that are usually worthless. If anything I give Buddy a 2yr deal while you still have Nembhard / Mathurin / Jerrace all on rookie deals and TJ gets traded in the offseason to save on his salary to offset the $. I also think for the style of play that Tyrese likes to play.. push up the court and shoot 3's you are not going to find a better fit in that style then Buddy who shoots 3's , hustles and already has synergy with Ty.
Respectfully it’s too early to say anything. If Jarace can become an Aaron Gordon that’ll be amazing. It’s too early at this point. Pacers shouldn’t rush the process of developing and trading for og would be the same as Ingram a first round exit cuz we don’t have a top 10 player in the league. The kings got cooked in the playoffs cuz they couldn’t play defense 😂. Domas Fox is out rn and they suck. As fans we know we need a reliable number 2. As fans we know this idk which fans you’re talking about. You just gotta see the development over time most of these guys are on their rookie contracts. The bulls have zach demar and Vuc and still suck. We know piling a bunch of stars together isn’t always the answer So star power isn’t always the way to go. The players themselves know defensively they’re struggling and are trying to address it. Pacers average the most bench points and the starters are looking better game by game. Once Rick gets his rotations down the team will look smoother. Rick didn’t call a time out at the end of the hornets game cuz these are all learning curves for the players especially tyrese you could see the disappointment. The thing is these guys really are tryna play hard but just doesn’t click some nights. If we play like this by the end of December or January then I’ll say ya the team is in hot water.

This is a lot of revisionist history. This fanbase was screaming about how we won the Sabonis trade from the moment it happened. The fanbase also wanted to ship Myles out constantly and were pissed at the front office when the Gordon Hayward trade fell through. You’re also kind of speaking out of both sides of your mouth saying you want the full tear down and also criticize other fans when they want exclusively guys who fit the timeline. Pick a lane.
Bro, Sabonis is the most OVERRATED big in the league. You know how frustrating it was watching him in Indiana? Sure his stats were nice but that did not contribute to the team winning at all. He had no paint defense and put up little hook shots and mid range shots that didn’t work 4 times out of 5. That trade for Haliburton was fantastic for our organization, and I’m taking Turner over Sabonis all day

No one in the entire NBA is going to give Buddy Hield 90-100 million dollars. Pacers cant even get a 1st rd pick for Him or he would be moved already.
Buddy Hield most definitely is NOT consistent. Hes had A decent start and ive been telling his fans to relish it while they can because ive been watching Him for close to 2 years now.
He will have little 3-4 game bursts that he plays with every ounce of energy he has but its not sustainable.
He was targeted every possesion he was on the court tonight. Shot both bricks and wide open airballs and was 2/12 from 3 and Carlisle thank God put him out his misery and benched him the rest of the game.
He played well over the weekend ill give him that but he missed wide open 3, turned the ball over, and missed a HUGE free throw that could have sent the game to overtime in the last 2-3 minutes of the game.
Hes a losing basketball player. He gets targeted on defense every second hes on the court. Hes absolute garbage most games beside some craig hodges/tim legler 3 point shooting which most fans think that is the only thing that constitutes a good player.

lol it’s way too early both in the season and still kinda early in the actual retool to say any of this.
The fact is that the pacers have a top 10 offense while also being one of the younger teams by usage in the NBA. There’s no real moves this team can realistically make (nor frankly needs to make) other than spend more time to develop skills and chemistry between players. Haliburton plays the game the right way, the team will eventually find its way around him 😛

I agree with most of what you’re saying here. Tyrese does need consistent help. The only thing i disagree with is your mathurin take. I feel like it’s a little soon to make that judgement on him. Yea this could be me being a little to over on him as a player but I still think he can develop into what we need him to be. But yes he needs to step up and I feel like if he can consistently give us even 18 points a game this year then I’m okay with that. That being said if you have an opportunity to get an ingram or even a markenen if the Jazz would even be open to it then I would do it in a heartbeat. I don’t know if you throw Benns name in there to get a trade like that done. Right now i lean no but i would definitely see if you can get a guy like that. I do believe the take you made is a little bit early in the season to judge but it’s a very valid one because who is gonna step up right now and be that guy next to tyrese. Do we have that guy on the roster right now? I think that’s what this season is about honestly.
