Maybe we can toss in Edwards for a second rounder?
twinberwolf
That’s so cute! They think they’re analysts
Gbaby245
They’re allowed to hope I suppose.
iceyH0ts0up
This is the best place for KAT with how he looks so far.
GZAofTheMidwest
Uh, no.
Fetchin1
They are high over beating three bum teams in a row, will get knocked down back to reality later tonight.
FishGoldenLite
These coastal big market journalists (and fans) seem to think teams like ours exist to cultivate talent to ship off to their teams for peanuts. It’s not based in reality, but it’s still obnoxious beyond belief.

With Edwards looking to be all NBA our financial situation is really really rough. Even if we don’t resign Conley and slomo we are still in the second apron. Then if we resign those two we are so deep in the luxury tax that we are super expensive. Not only that but we set ourselves up to be in the repeater tax. On top of all that he is a lot harder to trade making 49 million. All in all the calculus is more complicated than Kat is good so don’t trade him.
darin617
So why would they want him for cheap if he isn’t worth anything? Honestly if they could get a 1st round pick or 2 and at least 1 young promising star and basically salary filler on expiring deals it would work for me.
buchanbasanee
They’ll have to do something drastic after the season probably to address the luxury tax, but I think their early success this season currently has them on the path of being locked into to seeing how far this roster can go. Some major injuries or something like that where everything falls apart would be the only scenario I can envision where they’d want to do something before the deadline.
RoyalLake
KAT is maybe the most hated player that is constantly on teams “trade for” lists
Correct_Fly5152
I like how they note at the end of the article that the wolves are off to a hot start and are 5-0 at home.
You know what they say about how you should always mess with success?
Also. I bet KAT would love playing 48 minutes a game again under Thibs.
Cyranoiddebergerac
Believe me, we don’t want him
sayqueensbridge
remember when the nets wanted Ant, KAT, and picks for KD
mgrimshaw8
KAT has such a fuckin long contract. It’s not often teams get a chance to trade for a star that hasn’t even started his supermax yet.

These dumbasses just don’t understand that small markets can be good. They think they’re incubators for talents to be sent out to big markets so they can play on “real teams.” They think that it is impossible for anything but major market teams to make money.
fartswitheagles
Get Barret, Quickly and Grimes back and idk well think about it.
Salmol1na
Kat puts the F in Franchise
karlwhethers
The funny thing is all these guys act like the other GM won’t know how much KAT will be making starting next year. It will just be a surprise next year when they see the salary sheet.
SemataryPolka
I’m firmly back on the KAT train. He’s our guy
Critical-Fault-1617
Why even post this? Giving these nobodies clicks their article doesn’t deserve.
ShakesbeerMe
Every single time I see a stupid KAT trade, it’s from a Knicks fan.
PhantomSpecialist3
KAT isn’t going anywhere this team will be finals contenders and pay the tax
Meatball2112
These KAT trade rumors are ridiculous. Why would the Timberwolves mortgage the future trading for Gobert for their dual big man vision, only to abandon it now that it is starting to show results. This team is not off to this hot start without KAT even though he has only now stated to heat up on offense.

The NY Post is a trash Rupert Murdoch rag. I don’t think it reflects any kind of reality. Including anything the Knicks are thinking –and certainly not the Wolves.
CantaloupeCamper
It’s just bait.
I saw an article about trading Wiggins… for KAT.
Those writers aren’t worth linking to.
mostdope92
I’m convinced that Knicks fans and media just slander KAT to try and convince people he could actually be had for some garbage ass package centered around Julius Randle.
Newsflash Knicks, we don’t want your inefficient stat padder or Wiggins 2.0 or whatever other throwaways you try to throw our way.
