Bagley is not ass again a goofy lost take on the Pistons. Now I dont understand the whole Jaden Ivey thing and they better get this thing right, but im tryna tell u when you look at this team it is some promise but some decisions need to be made about this roster.
It’s the fact that the rockets are off to a good start and we still look like a 17 win team. I compare us to them we started our rebuild same time same picks same mentality for building young players. We took Cade from them (grateful we did!!) and yet the rockets are better than us already I’m so disappointed
Weaver’s To-do List: Trade a 1st Team All-Rookie for a 7ft bag of Lays ✅ Overpay a overrated coach to act like he’s excited to be here ✅ Allow the new coach to turn your 2nd Team All-Rookie into a bench-warming non-factor ✅ Push to play Killian more than he deserves ✅ Sign injury prone vets that have never won anything ✅ A shit show is what we have on our hands right now
I blame TOM GORES. I think Monty was a Tom Gores hire and it was unexpectedly over Weavers head. I think Gores didn’t trust or like any of Weaver coaching choices do to the Rob Murphy situation. Gores thinks he can pull the wool over fans eyes with Monty, he thinks he can buy a championship. Bringing in Monty Williams is equivalent to trading for a broken Blake Griffin, Monty didn’t make the Suns contenders CP3 did but nobody wants to have that real conversation.
Pistons would’ve been better off with a up and coming head coach someone whose humble and doesn’t think they’re the smartest person in the room. I think after Weaver drafted Ivey he had a new vision for how he wanted this team to look but Monty has come in with his own philosophy that doesn’t seem to line up with Weaver. I think Weaver was ready to get rid of Hayes but Monty is ridiculously trying to build around the bum. There’s some serious moves on the horizon either someone’s getting fired or a surprising trade is in the works.
Troy is not the problem it’s early in the season but Monty is doing a horrible job developing players. Killian, Stew, and even Ausar should not be starting. Ausar is very good but right now he would be better served coming off the bench. Ivey should be starting with Cade. The fact he’s barely getting minutes is ridiculous. Monty is ruining the relationship between Ivey and the Pistons and it’s sad because he did the same thing in Phoenix. We should have hired Udoka as head coach, look how he is turning Houston around.
If there is one thing we've seen it's that Weaver's drafting is great. Ausar already feels like a glue guy and Sasser is the best 3pt shooter on the team. Give Ausar some time to improve his shot and I think we improve significantly. Also free Ivey
That 2020 draft was so underwhelming. Killian’s offense never came around, Isaiah Stewart is solid but not a needle mover, and Saddiq Bey is a floor spacing bench piece (succeeding in that role in ATL). Needed some more from those 3 picks
Haliburton, Maxey, Bane, even mcDaniels we’re all opportunities missed

The pistons keep promising to spend every offseason. Eventually their big splash signing will just be Cades extension
Ausar is on the court for his defense shows how many games you watched
Ausar Thompson is special young player.
Ausar’s defense is crazy good! Offense will come along.
Wiseman and Bagley are Fs. This has to be the last year of tanking. Troy has one more summer.
What has weaver done that had made this team better
Bad owner.
Gores should hire Bill Lamibeer as GM.
He would know how to build a strong roster around Cade, Duren, and Ausar.

His ceiling was assistant GM.
