  1. I'll have to believe LaVine is traded when i see it, these are the Bulls ignorant front office we're talking about. But trading the "Mid 3" at last year's deadline could've potentially got us in the 2023 draft, we were already 7 games below 500. But of course everything this front office does is backwards, make it make sense.

  2. Okay. Most definitely a fan of him but more than 10 years in the nba and he is still at the same level. It's time to move from him.

  3. ive said this before but I got to spend some time around Zach, and he was a complete halfwit moron. Couldve told you years ago he would never be the #1 on a good team

  4. It's really hard when you think about it. They gave up on Lauri and Wendell way to early, and it burns. But they probably have held onto Zach and probably PAW a bit too long. It's unfortunate.

  5. Because what it sounds like is that we still is trying 2 win now I guess they saying we need somebody that can win now not draft picks or anything I think we lookin for a win now player like pascal siakam type player for example

  6. I actually just commented on your video from yesterday a little while ago, but I'll maintain what I said there even with this report coming out. I'm likely in the minority on this, but I don't want to see another full on rebuild for the Bulls. We went through that already just a few years ago and it sucked majorly. If we blow it up now, it may take YEARS to get the level of play the Bulls are at right now, which obviously isn't good or even average. I'd rather see the Bulls retool a bit and move on from one of the Big 3, mainly DeRozan. Nothing against him as he's given us some great moments in a Bulls uniform and helped make us relevant for the first time since the D Rose days (albeit briefly), but he just doesn't fit what Billy is trying to do and is starting to get old. Obviously they won't move on from Billy so soon after giving him that sneaky contract extension, and he likes the team to have a fast paced, ball movement filled, disruptive in the passing lanes, 3pt shooting, getting out in transition team and DeRozan just doesn't do any of that. I'd rather the Bulls keep Zach and Vooch since Vooch just signed that extension, and retool to fit around those 2. Trade DeRozan and get as much as you can for him (maybe a starting caliber PG and a late 1st round pick or a couple of 2nds?) and try to go back to that style of play Billy likes. The tiny amount of success the Bulls have had this year has come when they've disrupted the passing lanes, forced turnovers and got out in transition. Move on from DeRozan, try to bring in some immediate help in his trade, and see what happens the rest of the year. Maybe with one of the Big 3 gone, PWill gets the ball more and he can finally fill a bigger role with some confidence?

No matter what, the Bulls obviously have to change something. I just really hope they don't go into a full rebuild. IMO, that's more painful than what's happening right now

  7. I just said that top priority is keeping Zack happy by surround him with talent and that him not making an All Star selection this season would be a mistake. Giannis for example keeps getting key players because Milwaukee’s front office is terrified of Giannis requesting a trade. This is why they went out and got him a Dame. Boston is another example… Every season they make changes. The Knicks have been adding pieces here and there. Philadelphia of all places has been making changes every season since Ben Simmons and they are at the top of the east!!! The Bulls front office on the other hand has done NOTHING other than paying themselves!

Let’s go with everyone’s narrative for a sec… Trade Lavine and I’ll guarantee you he’ll bring whatever team that is over the top that has the supporting cast and the Bulls will be rebuilding for the next ten seasons min. It seems as though the casuals don’t have any idea on how long we’ve been rebuilding since D Rose. This isn’t on Lavine, this is about our front office and coaching. How many coach changes have the teams that I just mentioned made by the way? What we’re not going to do is make Zach the escape route. This front office is going to mess around and put themselves in a situation where Zach could force himself out for nothing in return 💡Trading Lavine buys Billy and this front office another three seasons because they will be here for the rebuild 💡 Bulls have until the deadline to do the obvious… Trade Derozan, our young players in Terry and Phillips, Williams because you’ll have to pay for a product that isn’t producing soon and decide on White and Drummond. The only players left should be Lavine, Vuc, Caruso and Carter. That is your core that you re tool around.

  8. I could see trying to keep DeMar on a cheap deal on the idea that he's a guy who can help a young team find their footing and learn the league. He's apparently a ready mentor and we've seen how teams that go full youth movement struggle to pick it up because they lack leadership. Having DeMar be the old vet showing the younger kids how to navigate the league wouldn't be bad. So long as he is willing to work cheap.

  9. 3 team trade:

To OKC- Zach Lavine, 2028 first round pick

To Toronto- Lu Dort, 2 firsts and a 2nd

To Chicago- OG Anunoby, Kenrich Williams, Davis Bertans

  10. You mention how it makes no sense that this front office wants to keep DeMar and Vooch even if they trade Zach, but it actually makes sense if you think about it. Winning isn't the priority for this team, making money is. Trading Zach gets his huge contract off the books. Keeping Demar and Vooch allows this FO to say there are still "stars" on the team and that they're still competing. Telling your fanbase you're going into a rebuild will greatly hurt merch and ticket sales. Telling your fanbase that you're restructuring around two of your stars sounds a lot better and keeps those sweet sweet dollars flowing into Jerry's pockets.

  11. I went to the UC for the Pistons game solely because it was the only team I thought they could beat. This team is ass

  12. A package of Lavine and Caruso can land some extremely promising young prospects and/or picks if handled correctly. Hope they do it right

  13. I’d deadass trade Zach straight up for cam Thomas 💯 Thomas only like 22 or 23, better scorer. I don’t see nobody giving 1st rd picks for Zach

  14. Pure speculation here but I think it would be incredibly exciting if if Zach is packaged in a deal to try and get the seemingly disgruntled/unenthused Zion Williamson in New Orleans. I do not think this is a probably outcome but it would make sense for the Bulls to pursue – getting a star level player with massive upside while continuing winning now – and New Orleans can build around Ingram with an All Star shooting guard.

As someone who enjoys watching competitive Bulls basketball but recognizes that this roster has hit its ceiling, this seems like a solid alternative.

I will also add that while I hated watching the last team rebuild but it would be interesting to see AKME's approach to bottoming out and building through the draft, most of that last rebuild was with GarPax at the helm.

  15. Zach needs to look within…I don't understand these players..never looking within..it's always someone else's fault…when we ask these players to do more..they run…well GOODBYE!! He needs to stop acting arrogant.

  16. Good hopefully we dump him. The dude is a career loser and hasn’t improved on anything since he joined the Bulls. Only way he can he affective is when his shot is falling and he scores 30+ points. His defense sucks, low IQ and crumbles in pressure situations. Most over rated over paid n the NBA

  17. Can they add the coach & Pat Williams in the Zach trade as well cause this team is doomed as long as Billy still coaching

  18. First you fail to surround D Rose with significant (thank Ben Gordon) talent but Thibs defensive mind saved you from that… Then you fail to surround Butler with significant talent by bringing in senior citizens in Rondo who I love and Wade… You then trade Butler for Zach. You build around Zach but were ignorant in thinking that one player (Ball) was the difference maker instead on continuing to surround him with talent!!! Let this be another lesson Bulls fans… Take notes from organizations like Milwaukee, Golden State and Boston who continue to surround their core with talent. They understand that these windows of opportunity are short.

  19. What is frustrating is now the Bulls appear to want to tank or blow it up. Why wouldnt they do this last year when they could tank for wemby?

Honestly, for Wemby’s sake, I’m happy they didn’t. This is how little I think of the Bulls and any Reinsdorf owned team.

  20. If traded, the Bulls need to pay him an additonal 15% of his contract. You really think Reinsdork is going for this??????

  21. Piss weak form from the front office. Literally waiting until 90% of the players value is at an all-time low to blow it up.

  22. It doesn't show how much the Bulls paid for him, it doesn't matter if he plays or not, it makes no difference to the team. For me they have to make a trade for him. I don't understand why we traded Butler for him.

  23. This is insane, if they trade Zach but keep Demar. If that happens than this front office regime is not smart at all and so far has been as bad as GarPax era.
The only one I would keep would be Vooch so I can boost his value on a bad team and than sell him next year.
What a disaster this franchise is.

  24. It hurts to say it, but Zach being my favorite Bull is over. The minute you publicly say that you don’t want to be on the club, GTFO. I love the Bulls, hopefully they get it turned around, but I’m deeply disappointed by this news.

  25. Trade Lavine for some young guys and first round pick.
Trade vooch for a young upcoming starting center
    Keep DeMar for mentoring.
I really want to believe in Pat, but I think you also should trade Pat.
And conclude Terry somewhere in the trades.

Just make a line-up of Carter, DeMar, White, Craig and Drummond and play Phillips, Dosunmu, Caruso of the bench

  26. If Zach is commited to the team, I would trade Demar and would try to get a PG for the trade. I wouldn't mind get Patrick Beverley back in the Bulls as the starting PG, with Zach and AC as SG and SF, having Coby and P Will coming off the bench. I think the team would be stronger this way.

  27. Of course your trip start out with this news. You were smart planning it early too, never would’ve guessed our team would have these rumors until a little before the all star break. If anything you’re watching the last few games to see if this team can really figure it out, however I think it’s time for change. I’m all for rebuilding but something about this team just makes me want them to succeed so bad but I know it’s unlikely

  28. Zach's one of the most gifted scorers in the league but he cant play in a system. His game feels selfish to me. I've never seen zach make the players around him better and as athletic as he is, he doesn't commit at all on defense. That's gotta be frustrating as a teammate of his. A year ago I knew we needed to make a change but honestly I thought it would be demar, its clear now that zachs the one that's gotta go. We can talk about demar iso, defense, age, etc. as potential downsides to his game but to me, demar is a player that competes and is willing to make sacrifices. Id much rather have someone with that mindset stick around. We'll see what happens and all the best to zach is he does get traded. Been fun watching him.

  29. Can’t wait to stop hearing “Ah! Come on!” every single time Zach drives to the basket. We need a SG that can play some defense, has a high basketball IQ, and pass the ball when double or triple teamed instead of driving/shooting. I’m ready for a team blow up. We are going nowhere with this group.

  30. Id rather trade Vucevic over Lavine. But for the first time, even when Bulls was a dead horse in garpax era, i never seen a version of Lavine that much demotivating.

Must be the frustration of see a winning team project going downhill. Except by Caruso, the entire team morale is below the ground.
